IGAD-PLUS Timetable for South Sudan Peace Process in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.


– July 9-20, 2015: Preparation of the necessary Documents.

– July 21-23, 2015: Discussions of the IGAD-PLUS.

– July 23, 2015: Arrival of the Stakeholder’s delegates.

– July 24, 2015: Delivery of Documents to stakeholders by IGAD-PLUS (In the morning)

– July 24, 2015: Departure of Stakeholders (In the afternoon)

– July 25 – August 4, 2015: Stakeholders consultation with their respective leadership. Envoys and Representatives of the Mediation and IGAD-PLUS will continue to engage South Sudan stakeholders and IGAD-PLUS Leaders.

– August 5, 2015: Arrival of stakeholders’ delegates.

– August 6-12, 2015: Negotiations resume between the negotiating Parties.

– August 13-14, 2015: South Sudan’s Principals convene to finalize the Agreement.

– August 15, 2015: Meeting of Foreign Ministers of IGAD-PLUS.

– August 16, 2015: Finalizing documents for Summit meeting. Arrival of Heads of State and Government of IGAD-PLUS and Heads of delegations.

– August 17, 2015: Summit Meeting of IGAD-Plus and signing of the agreement.
