April 15, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — I accord you peace, respect and harmony in our just war. I MUST REPEAT, “that our victory is certain.” Indeed, our people suffered incredible pains in the hand of our supposed brothers and to whom we fought together the war of liberation side by side. Where we built mutual trust for each others and brotherhood and incredible high ground of hope for better South Sudan; this is ever dashed and long go. I am sadden; I feel your pain. It’s a pain all Naath society and some Dinka persons are forced to going through.

Kiir Mayardit and some of his Dinka militias killed innocent Naath civilians and made all attempts to cover it up. In my last political commentary, titled; ” The Nuer Massacre: I am alive, not dead”. This was meant to remind the killers that you have killed our brothers, sisters, mothers, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, uncle, aunts and fathers in their thousands but the ultimate truth is, I told them, you have not killed us all.

For your vividly letter in your mother memory, our mother, read by thousands around the globe and across all walk of life, you made your point loud and clear. I commended you for your bravery and I must say, eventually, peace shall come, today, tomorrow or some days. As Naath saying had it that, all pain or problem never come to stay. On this basis, I promised that we will be free for the hand of this genocidal regime.

Lastly, our innocent souls shall never vanish in vain. I pledged once and again, now, that I will continue to write in their memories. This is what I can offer in my capacity as thing stands beside advocating for peace and democracy to prevail in our homeland.

As you correctly alluded to, this war, in anyway is not about Riek Machar’s political life but our collective RIGHT to LIFE as Naath society. Our right to practice our freedom of speech in the land we collectively liberated with some of our people killers and other citizens of South Sudan. We (Naath) were singled out and killed. This is not sane but inhumane. Bother Puk Goar, you are brave and confident and I promised, the win and the Lord is in our favor.
Best regards,
J. Nguen
