An Open letter to peace lover and media
Subject: The Nuer community Association in Egypt condemns the killing of the Nuer civilians in Juba & we urges president Kiir to stop the genocide & order foreign forces to immediately leave South Sudan territories.
To whom it may concern:
We are Nuer Community Association in Egypt.
“With deep sorrow, we would firstly like to convey our heartfelt condolence to the Nuer families who lost their love one from barbaric killing in juba, South Sudan”.
The Nuer community Association in Egypt is an umbrella organization of Nuer sub-communities living in the states and territories of Egypt, we represent the voices and the political interest of Nuer people in Egypt.
Among the sixty three tribes in South Sudan Nuer is one of the largest tribe which was expose to suffer from genocide and brutality that was force to Nuer and South Sudan leaders in Juba and surrounding states.
South Sudan is the newly born East African state which got it independent from Sudan on the 9th of July 2011 with more the 98% voted for succession.
The main objective behind the calling for independency was to have a virtue democracy where everyone have freedom, just system and recover in the spirit of brotherhood and friendship between the people of one nation without discrimination.
It was because of the lack of provision of essential services and inefficient power distribution that lead to the split of the Republic of South Sudan from the Republic Sudan, citizen of RSS should enjoy their wealth instead of president Kiir playing a tribal affiliation and use the oil revenue (money), to mobilize the east African countries, Uganda forces in particular to fight in defense of Mr. Kiir administration and his Dinka tribe men who support one man rule.
Liberal South Sudanese citizens
Proportion to the weakness of Salva Kiir’s government and lack of ability to govern the state affairs now resulted in creating a fabricated coup attempt and detention of his political rivals that ban them from political exercise and prison them to reduce the process of fair competition through the ballot box.
To preserve “maintain” the seat; President Kiir formed a militias group of 3,000 men from his clan and named them “Tietweng” in Dinka meaning “Cowboys”.
When president Kiir fails to capture the former vice president Dr. Riek Machar on December 15th 2013, he gave a direct order/command to his recruited “Tietweng” to carry out an ethnics cleansing against Nuer civilians in Gudele, Aden, Manga, Jabel, Cor William, Nhar Referendum and 107 blocks on 16, 17, 18 and 19 of December, 2013.
According to the sources more than 9,000 Nuer civilians were killed during the above mention days and the killing goes on until today.
The operation units which were graduated on October, 15th 2013 in Luri, Juba South Sudan are still searching homes until today that is why they gather around United Nation compound of Tongping in February 2014 and crash down all the facilities, and took the vehicles of Nuer politicians and civilians found inside UN grounds.
President Museveni of Uganda must leave
The NCAE learned that the Ugandan People Defense Forces “UPDF” are using Cluster bombs against South Sudanese freedom fighters.
Therefore; the NCAE strongly condemns the present of foreign forces and the used of the Cluster bombs in South Sudan internal affairs. If president Kiir runs out of South Sudan support from the army which resulted in consecutive defections of army, he (Kiir) should resign to prevent a full blow of tribal war and destruction.
South Sudanese citizens do not need Ugandan troops and Ugandan participation in peace talk in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we know that the president Museveni of Uganda and his administration has the same leadership characteristic to president Kiir Mayardit.
Therefore, we are calling for the International Community to order the withdrawal of foreign forces particularly Ugandan’s troops to prevent regional conflict as stated by Ethiopian prime minister.
Beloved South Sudanese citizens
What is happening now in our homeland is the dropping of patriotism and blur nation true, so our message to the nation with its honorable tribes is to work together to bring down the dictatorship and individual rule and committed to the rule of group and democratic action to activate the law and constitution inclusive in which citizen are equal in rights and duties.
The Nuer community Association in Egypt expectation to the next round talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The NCAE strongly believe that in order to have any chance of genuine peace and trust restore back, the mediators; intergovernmental Authority Development (IGAD), African Union (AU) and the troika countries (US, Norway, and Uk) must call for an Interim administration in South Sudan in the next round of talks as the only logical way forward until election are held in 2015.
Leaving the current leadership in power until 2015 will be a recipe for further disaster beyond 2015.
In the event of election there will no fair transparent and democratic election as the leadership will simply stage another coup d’état against itself with the intention to send into exile or rebellion anyone who dare to aspire to seek leadership.
It is now clear beyond doubt that the current leadership has lost legitimacy after orchestrating and allowing ethnic base massacre of various ethnics groups in Juba, Jonglei, Malakal and Unity, particularly the Nuer group.
Inclusion; the NCAE demand justice for our decease and wounded victims or we will not rest until it is realize.
