April 27, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — We the Unity States Youth Union in Eldoret, Kenya, are calling for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Unity State, and South Sudan at large.

Believing in peace, the Unity State Youth Union in Eldoret are taking this opportunity to show our enormous support for the government of Unity State under the able leadership of Dr Joseph Nguen Manytuil WeJang, and South Sudan as all.

We urge the warring parties to leave their differences behind and reflect on the needs of our people of South Sudan, who are daring for peaceful co-existent in South Sudan, and therefore we must shun down the tribal line power struggle in the country.

The nine counties association in Eldoret –Kenya are also asking the state government and National government to send delegates for the 9th July Independence Celebration as a sign of Unity and working together.

Although there are disputes among the youth as some of our members are still grieving their loved ones who were targeted and killed in December 2013, as elites in foreign country we took the initiative for internal peace dialogue as South Sudanese.

The current South Sudan was achieved through Wunlit Peace talks back in 1998, which brought the SPLM/A factions together after their split in 1991. Our people should look back into what happened in 1991 in South Sudan, and also in Nuerland in 1998 after the Khartoum peace agreement and people were united for independence of South Sudan.

Whoever is victimized as government supporter should stand firm to non-tribal South Sudan real healing and reconciliation that we have started here in Eldoret. In fact according to what happened in south Sudan December 15th a tribal minded person may take it as a ladder to a achieved his political ambition, but our aims is to unite our people to come together as one nation. We therefore declared our union as government supporter in Eldoret –Kenya.

The reason why we have been victimized by a few Nuer community leaders here, who believed to represent Rebels in Eldoret, this will not go anywhere because we will always try to unite South Sudanese community in Diaspora and we are together. It’s unfortunate to them.

We know the root causes of these problems being that there are some elements that stand firm to disunite these communities. We are very strong, united and legible to bring peace if the government we stand with support the initiative and nobody will challenge us as South Sudanese.

We have therefore met with Hon. Simon Gatluak Pech Dak Dhoar, the Deputy Speaker of Unity State Legislative Assembly, who encourages our unity in Eldoret.

Dak promised the Nuer students, whose scholarships have been affected by this conflict, that the government will make sure they resume their studies in May this year.

He added that the country is one and for such if there are scholarships they must be distributed equally.

Dak promised that he will make sure the Governors of the War affected Upper Nile states will save the copies of your admission forms and transcripts from your universities, specifically for the case of South Sudan Council Union in Eldoret. The ten governors will receive copies of the association requisition to run her affairs in peace making process.

Peter Gatkuoth Chiangjiak,

Your article indicates that you are begging for money from Nguen Manytuel, but not calling for peaceful resolution to the conflict. I said this because you praise government which Killed Nuer’s women, children, girl, boys, men, young and old babies.

Second, you are begging for money because you posted your numbers on the website so Nguen Manytuel can call you and give you a gift for praising him. I like to take this opportunity to acknowledge you Nueri-Riali that your future is dead in Naath community. There would be no more opportunity for your advancement in the future in various Nuer community in South Sudan.

Continue enjoy your blood money, your darkness days are still yet to come.

I don’t think those students are ready to be a leaders of tomorrow, unity under Joseph Nguen and Salva Kirr is impossible. First all Joseph Nguen never stood with his people he did it in 1980s during the war of two Sudanese and he did it again when Salva Kirr order a killing of his own people. And don’t forget this war will end nationally but it will remain between Nuer in Unity State because of his hate massage that he preach in Bul community against other clans in Nuer Bentiu. If we say forget the pass and let’s move on. How if Salva who kill our love ones still their. You are not a university students because if you are you will judge base on truth, you are expected to bring the change to our communities but that way you will never make it. Joseph is not a leader because no leader betrays his people.

Congratulation for mentioning this statement on your article now this will depend from reader to analysis what you want. But i hope surrendering to one who kill your brother not intentionally will never solve this problem.

I have really based my suggestion and recommendation on the fact that when the Nuer civilians population were being targeted for extermination as a “final solution” in whole or in part, it was shocking, but not surprising that not even a single tribe out of the sixty three (63) other tribes ever publically protested or demonstrated in the streets in Juba against Salva Kiir genocide or democide against the innocent Nuer nationality or ethnicity as an indelible group. Let’s assume that what happened to the Nuer nationality in Juba town happened to different groups amongst the sixty-three (63) other tribes, the Nuer nationality or ethnicity because it believes and advanced traditional democracy, egalitarianism, social justice, Communism and social equality, the Nuer nationality would not have stood by, but would have been involved to defend and to protect those groups that have been targeted for extermination by the other groups as a “final solution” in whole or in part. So what you are claiming is beyond our scope here in front line.
