According to their declaration, seen by our editorial team, the officers are defecting with over 1000 troops:

“Our forces which composes of 1,500 men will work to restore security for all citizens and we shall be active to bring peace to South Sudan and particularly LOL state under the governorship of Amb Aguer Rual.” said the officers.

“We have decided to work with Cde Amb Aguet Rual, the newly appointed governor of LOL STATE, former Greater Gogrial.” the officers said.

The officers reiterate that the conflict, which has been dragging on for more than one year, has left no room for neutrality, and believe that it is time to return to the bush to liberate the country.

“December 15, 2013, we have closely followed political events and we become concerned about actions taken by Salva Kiir by murdering Nuer innocent populations  and others nationalities in Juba.” the officers said.

“We believe that South Sudan is a nation whereby human rights is not valued and respected . Corruption at all the levels of government has been widely exercised by Slava and his supporters. Fighting for Federalism:

The main objective, according to their declaration, is to fight for federalism and contribute to building a nation that values and respects all her citizens, irregardless of tribes and regions.

“Our aims  to  support the Federal system  which will bring political stability  and reward all people of South Sudan regardless of their tribes and location and fight corruptions at all level of governments. Displacement has been encouraged across the nation, no developments all over the country.” Said the former officers.

The officers appeal to all people of South Sudan to “stand firm with and to support the SPLA In Opposition and its leadership.”

Warning foreign forces active in South Sudan

The new defection warns all the foreign troops to withdraw from South Sudan, otherwise, failure to do so will be responded through a military action.

“We warn that an immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces in South Sudan territory must be carried out immediately.” Said the officers

“Failure to do so, our forces will take strong military action. We are urging our community and their leaders to cooperate and report those foreign forces active in their respective areas.” The defectors warns

The officers are calling upon the citizens to report any illegal occupation or any foreign military activities in the areas under their control.

“Furthermore, we urge our citizens to report any illegal military activities that would bring insecurity in their areas or villages.” The declaration reads.

“Once again, we  urge our leaders to update and inform our people about the current peace talks and the ongoing wrongdoing of Slava Kiir Administration.” The statement concludes.

To Mr. Salva-Crisis, if money is your hope for independence power, you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of Loving your citizens, knowledge, experience, and ability. Now your Country Citizens are running away from your leadership, would you bring the whole Uganda Citizens as your National Citizens or what are you going to do now?
If I were you, I would have resigned from the leadership on 01/of January, 2014, to give chance to peace in South Sudan.
