June 6, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The office of South Sudan Artists’ Association in Ethiopia (SSAAE) is hereby announcing to public that it will conduct a fund-raising concert in Akobo to support a newly established indigenous NGO in Akobo County.

IKC which stands for Indigenous Knowledge Center is a newly founded local NGO base in Akobo. It’ll be extended to other parts of south Sudan upon securing enough funds to carryout its undertakings. It’s in need of funds from both local and international donors..

Paul Ruot Bayoch, the secretary for SSAAE urges all the south Sudanese communities to support the newly founded Indigenous Knowledge Center (IKC).

“This indigenous NGO is a home baked, we need to support it. Let’s show our support (morally or monetarily). So, if we support it, it’ll deliver services effectively to our citizens”.

He further said “Artists’ are the drivers of change, we’re for development. Even though the country is affected by made-made crises, we can still push on for development to transform violent mentality of our people into peaceful mind sets. We’re doing this for sake of peace and prosperity.”

Moses Wawich, the field manager of IKC has appreciated the decision taken by SSAAE to raise funds locally in Akobo.

“I thanks all the artists who’ll performance in this fund raising concert. This is a very great move. I know, raising funds locally for the IKC isn’t simple. The good thing is, by contributing to the initial capital of this NGO, people will surely own it for its their own creation which will tackle their own problems”. He also urge all invited groups to warmly attend this special occasion with open hearts, compassion and collaboration..

The prominence artists who’ll perform in this fund raising concert include among others, Paul.B, Jock Badeng, Deng Moroal, Kulang Ruach and Gatruop Yian.

The fund-raising concert will take place next week, Saturday, 13/06/2015 in Akobo at Akobo Green Hotel. We wish you all the best!!!!!!!!!!

Funds Raising itself is a job because concert organizes and musicians will be pay too and small amount will go to the so-called a Newly Established Indigenous NGO in Akobo.People of Nuer need to free themselves from the so-called SPLM-IO because what cronies SPLM-IO beg will not reach people of Nuer. Elites just spoil Nuer further through begging.

If we are to persist like this our country will not move forward. My brother who unreasonably comment that Nuer should fefrain themselves from this concert you must be some sort of people who kill their mothers. U r very insensitive. It is not about trablism, no tribe was entitled
