Feb 9, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — In implementation of pursuit to federalism in the Federal Republic of South Sudan, Nasir County of Sobat State has last week witnessed new Payam administration establishment in the county. The ceremony was attended by County authority, traditional chiefs and senior military and police officers.

Addressing the rally at the recognition ceremony of Kotkea Payam administration on Friday 6th February 2015, Nasir County Commissioner Colonel Kang Goch Deng said Federal system of governance was demanded by local population as the best system that is most accepted by all people of south Sudan.

“We, in the SPLM/SPLA, our programme is based on your needs. We want to bring the town to you here. This is a vision of SPLM/SPLA… and it was that, Salva Kiir didn’t want to give you, my dear people. You demanded the institution of federal system of governance, now we are here to give it to you” Col Kang said.

He say SPLM/SPLA is now ready to correct the past negligences under the then Salva Kiir government.

“my people of Nasir community. This is a ceremony for establishing Kotkea Payam administration, here in Torkech. it is a taste of your demand for federal system of government.” Kang added..

Kang assured the entire county population that SPLM/SPLA is a people‘s movement that fight against injustice in the country.

“you know, everywhere all over the world, there is a government and there are people, Civilians. But there is no government that can kill its citizen, like what was done in December 2013 by Salva Kiir and his government.” Col. Kang said.

“Civilians are the children of government, so how come you kill your children? So because of many reasons he wronged the citizens of this lovely country, we fought him and we will continue to fight him till he steps aside from the chair’’ He continued.

Meanwhile, two Sub chiefs of Kotkea Payam, Mr Tut Thichuong Lual and Bile Reath Tongyik appreciated the SPLM/SPLA Leadership for listening to their concerns.

“I am happy for this achievement. We have demanded this administration for a long time, but our voice was not heard.” Tut Thichuong, Sub-chief of Ciengdok community said.

Before introduction to federalism by the SPLM/SPLA-IO, Kotkea was part of Kuetrenke Payam, and now both Kuetrenke and Kotkea become separate payams under Nasir county of Sobat state.

I am not real sure in what democracy system would created 11 New States without approval from the country’s Parliamentary and the absence of president signature unless you guys taking law in to your hands otherwise, that signs is far away from democracy system. We might have to created 100 States in South Sudan if that will change your culture of creation on rebellion Idea but you guys must shown us how do you funds 11New States with 28 counties this is just example to educated those supporting 11 New States. Remember, the young nation is a land lock and we gave some % to Khartoum government to allow flowing oil in to the Port Sudan and we have to rent their pipeline. The other % give away to accompanies operating oil and you name it more others. Supposedly, the former vice president would have to make a brainstorming first before airing 21 States randomly.

There is nothing the Dinka kingdom could possibly do to stop & reverse the flight of of federalism. no matter how long this war goes on. Liberated areas under the control of SPLM-In Opposition will continue to practice federalism as a governing system. Thanks to Machar this will discourage monopoly of powers, enhance transparency & accountability. Prevention of bad governing system is less costly than damage controlling an already decayed system as current. We all know the country is in a 1year & change into the civil war because efforts made in reforming the governing party were shun. Look how costly it is now in all areas. Congratulations to the leaders & people of Nasir Community. Congrats to the SPLM/A In Oppositions.
