SOBAT STATE GOVERNOR CONGRATULATE SOUTH SUDAN’S FVP FOR ASSUMING HIS OFFICE

April 29, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- Sobat State governor H.E Duer Tut Duer congratulates south Sudan’s First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny for assuming his office as the First Vice President of the new nation. In his Headquarters Mandeng, Sobat State, 27th of April 2016 Governor applaud the people of south Sudan for accepting to work together once again as one people in a one nation.

In a document seen on Wednesday by Nyamilepedia correspondent, H.E Duer Tut Duer one of the most hardworking governor under Federal 21 States based on British Demarcation, Governor Duer congratulates Dr. Riek Machar the FVP under Transitional Government of the National Unity (TGoNU).

“We the people of Sobat State congratulate our Chairman and Commander-In-Chief of SPLM/A, Cde Dr. Riek Machar Teny for having assumed his functions as First Vice President of Republic of South Sudan.”

Former Rebel leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny arrived in the capital of south Sudan, Juba on Tuesday 26th-04-2016 and immediately took up the position of the FVP of the Republic, a position stipulated in the August-18-2015 peace Agreement to end more than 28 months of civil war in the young nation. According to the Sobat State governor, the people of Sobat State recognized the hard-work of the FVP Dr. Riek Machar for fighting hard to bring peace back home to the people of south Sudan.

“We also congratulate him for having fought to bring peace back to South Sudan. We were behind our Chairman during the war. We will be behind our Chairman and our First Vice President in a peaceful South Sudan.”

H. E Duer Tut Duer who recently came back from Ulang to solve some of the minor issues that occurred last month between the neighboring Bieh State and Sobat State, Duer is still busy touring the entire Sobat State preaching the message of peace and reconciliation among the Sobat State citizens. Duer appreciates the negotiation teams in Addis Ababa and Arusha as well as that played by Armed Opposition forces during the crisis.

“We will never forget the role played by our negotiating teams in Addis Ababa and Arusha as well as that played by our gallant soldiers, the White Army, the chiefs in the villages, and our brothers and sisters from diaspora to bring us to this Moment.”

Duer believed it is time now for the people of South Sudan to work together for a better country and to build the broken pieces left behind by the war.

“It is now time for the people of South Sudan to work together to build this Nation without tribalism and without nepotism.”

South Sudan crisis left Tenth of thousands dead, more than million displaced and over 250, 000 still lives in the UN protection camps across the country. With peace progress hopes are high for a better nation.
