April 27, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— On behalf of SPLM/SPLA IO in Sudan, we, the members of Sudan People Liberation Movement in Opposition are hereby congratulating H.E Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon for taking a bold Decision to go back to Juba where he has taken his position as the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan in accordance with August peace Agreement. Congratulations to President Salva Kiir for welcoming and recognizing Dr. Riek Machar as first Vice President of the Country on his arrival to the nation capital, Juba yesterday 26 April 2016. Peace is what our people are demanding at this critical time, a good leader can realized very importantly.

Million Congratulations Dr. Riek Machar for taking your position as 1^st Vice President of South Sudan and this is the beginning of implementation of peace Agreement signed in August last Year 2015. This indeed, marks the coming of peace back to our war affected Country and its dear civil Population. It marks the end of the armed struggle between the two SPLM factions (SPLM/SPLA IO and SPLM/SPLA IG) and it is real call for national unity among South Sudanese Communities through true reconciliation and forgiveness.

We our special thanks go to Gen. Tabang Deng Gai, the Chief Negotiator and Chairman of the National Committee for Peace and Reconciliation and Chairman of Advance Team of SPLM IO and his team members for leading our Team successfully during the Peace Negotiation processes since Addis Ababa till Juba.

Congratulations to entire leadership of SPLM/SPLA in opposition and its mighty SPLA Field commanders and Fighters, political and civil organization leaders, youth and Women Leagues who have been working hard in order to ensure democracy, freedom, Justice and equality for all people of South Sudan .

We would also in a special way recognize and appreciate very much peace mediators, the IGAD Countries, the Troika Countries, AU, UN and UNMISS for their tireless effort in bringing peace and stability back to war affected people of South Sudan. In the same way, we also extent our sincere thanks and appreciation also to all friends of South Sudan who contributed positively to bring this peace back to our Country.

May God bless South Sudan and its dear people far and wide.
