Jan 02, 2015(Nyamilepedia) —- We the third group in the advance team of SPLM-I.O, under the Chairmanship and Commander IN-Chief of SPLM/SPLA, Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon, have arrived Juba capital city on 31st Dec. 2015 safely.
We are adhered by Peace Accord, the IGAD PLUS to honor it as directed by our leadership. As such we have sent away all feelings of hatred and revenge as well as God has granted us the spirit of reconciliation to make us love and forgive ourselves.
The aim is to build a shared future from the divided past as indicated by Chapter (1), section 1.1 of IGAD PLUS. We do not have alternative way to lasting peace, and yet we have all made a good start. Both two parties, the SPLM/SPLA I.O and the government of South Sudan as well as the other political parties by signing the IGAD PLUS ( The Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan), war has ended, and a settlement has been reached , and a “Government of National Unity comprising of ten states to be presided by president Kiir Mayardit and deputized by 1st Vice president Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon”.
This government is to struggle and to construct a new society out of the ashes of the old. Part of the task of construction is to build confidence and fair good relationship between the previously divided SPLA warring factions to become a national army that would give respect and love to its citizens.
Let us be who we are and we all say what we feel. This government shall bring South Sudan into the front stage of world diplomacy and at the same time it gives her an entirely new form.
Come along with us and we jointly rebuild our country for Dr. Riek Machar is a kind of person who always thinks not about destructions but about country and people with love. Thanks in God’s name and wish you a happy new year with a white page.
