Dec 24, 2015(Nyamilepedia) —- As we approach Christmas season of this year 2015, with hard to forget past, when joy, excitement and merriment are usual parts of its tradition, Sudan people’s liberation movement (IO) under the leadership of the designate First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar, delighted to extend to all the people of South Sudan, hope, season’s greeting and the good wishes for prosperous new year of 2016.
All your unforgotten and valuable supports to help South Sudan on its gem journey of peace seeking during its bloody conflicts over the past two years, and now implementation of the agreed settlement, leading to the formation of inclusive interim government of national unity is heartiest appreciated deeply.
The SPLM (IO) armed resistance to the government, was born as a catalyst in bringing full democracy, equality, rule of law, justice and development to South Sudan in regardless of ethnic groups differences. In its expression of confidence and willingness to bring to an end the war in South Sudan and ceasing people’s sufferings, the armed resistance movement; (SPLM-IO)’s representatives are now in Juba, the capital, to fully and peacefully, participating in formation of the transitional government, to which it has to be up and running shortly before the end of January 2016.
The assurances of The armed resistance of SPLM (IO) to South Sudanese, all parties involved in the war and the world at large, are; putting suffering to an end, prevailing forgiveness and reconciliation ,enhancing rapid settlement of those affected, reconstruction, development, and putting south Sudan’s economy back to on track and up running sustainably .
