April 26, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– Dear countrymen and women. We have a reason to celebrate. Peace has exclusively returned and we have to embrace it, love and nurture it. Propaganda has to cease and we have to forego our differences, forgive ourselves, reconcile to live together to rebuild this country. Let’s stop blame games and culture of finger pointing. Let’s learn and practice to say that we are sorry for   wrongs done to ourselves, it helps a lot, just try it and see how it helps.

My enormous thanks goes to the president, H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit for his unbelievable yesterday’s speech, to the First Vice President, H.E Dr. Riek Machar Teny for his courage and unwavering love for the people of South Sudan. If it were not that, he wouldn’t be able to return yesterday and to all the leaders and the people of South Sudan for their love of peace.

I would sincerely like to appeal to brothers and sisters that I might have wronged or hurt before, during and after the war to forgive me and I have in return forgiven them for the wrongs they might have done to me. Let’s rethink what we might have done wrong before the war, and try to correct it and think of a better way of resolving our differences. Let’s use our tea places, other public places and social media fruitfully. Let’s not use them to talk tribal politics or to talk things that will hurt this nation. Let the youth understand that war destroys and kills, hence, let’s talk when concerns arise. It really hurts to kill a brother and this must stop and should never repeat itself.

Thanks
