April 6, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — One of the things that surprise me time and time again is how we think our brains work and how they actually do. Surely the agenda of Dr James Okuk wasting his time with nonsensical talks need justifiable facts. If you’re tired, your brain is not as good at filtering out distractions and focusing on a particular task. It’s also a lot less efficient at remembering connections between ideas or concepts. These are both good things when it comes to creative work, since this kind of work requires us to make new connections, be open to new ideas and think in new ways and we make a good South Sudan. Baptizing South Sudanese people with raw ideas that lack facts is ironical and insults to your academics qualifications!

Too much argumentative sometimes results to illiteracy or small minds. Keep your demeanor cool my dear. Let our debates be intellectuals’ arguments with lots of citations and connotations rather than making assumptions which are malicious in nature.

James Okuk you’re always claiming to be conceited which is not the case. Behaving in manic or manipulative way is not good to be practice in the Republic of South Sudan at this critical period of time where Citizens are divided base on ethnicity.

However, when writing something for public consumption; write articles that resonate in order to change the current situation of the republic of South Sudan rather then tribalizing your idea based on your ethnicity. Other people may look at your idea as myopic in nature if it’s doesn’t constituted the meaningful insight for public good.

Well, I will not response to all your hilarious statements because I have realized you need to read more of history before making lots of confrontations with someone who is well informed about the Nuer, shiluk and Dinka history. Sometimes is good to evaluate your facts before publication because you might be judge wrong or others might term you as someone who is not aware of the past and present events. Therefore, I have fully realized that, you need more to read history or go for another PhD so that; you will be in intellectual world.

For your information I might not tell you my background as you do in your article where you introduce yourself as well as your supervisors during your time in the University of Nairobi. My background is known to everyone globally and I have went through academics system from primary, high school, my first Bachelor Degree, first Master Degree and my second Master Degree that am concluding in may next month 2015. Know that, you are talking to informed and political Scientist as yourself. There is no where you could deceive me, may be you could deceive Stephen Par Kuol whom you said, you know better. For your information, you cannot blame the mirror when your face is distorted! I was acting as your mirror because you digress from what you were supposed to educate to your masses.

For you to deny the massacre of Nuer in Juba justify to me that; you are under some one influence in Juba or the current situation where money is nowhere to be seen forced you to write in order for small token to go in to your pocket. Interesting! Well there is a saying small minds make a lot of noise and great minds discuss facts. Please join me in discussing the facts that will magnify the growth of South Sudan as the Country.

After contextualizing your full article I realized that you were trying to equivocate all scenario about South Sudan conflict, which I can allow since I know more about what is doing on at the movement.

After going through your article, I found out that; there is no single educative points I have across rather what I got in your narratives are nonsensical arguments that lack facts and realities. What a disgrace?

I don’t know that PhD holder is good at telling lies!

Absolutely; I have well research more and more about your education background Dr James Okuk since your time when you were in Kakuma Refugee Camp and subsequently up to your time in Nairobi Kenya where you received your Doctorate in 2009 December. If you want me to mention more then I can do so, if time allows. The issue might not know you but what are are you telling the audiences, is very crucial.

While I was reading the article I realized that it was a thoughtless view that lack insight for it to be comprehensive.

Denying the massacre of the Nuer civilians in Juba is justification of mental illness in you and that is why I refer you to see Neurologist. For your information a Neurologist is a doctor who specializes in treating diseases of the nervous system. The nervous system comprises the central and peripheral nervous system. This complex system involves the spinal cord and the brain. To my own judgment some of your nervous system needs to be check in order for you to be in the same level with me.

Inventive ideas that can help to end the ongoing conflicts are what we should advocate for as South Sudanese people at this particular period of time rather than ambiguous statements!

More interestingly, during the summer of 2010, the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), in an attempt to disarm the tribe and stop a local Shilluk rebellion, burned a number of villages and killed an untold number of civilians in South Sudan’s Shilluk Kingdom. Over 10,000 people were displaced in the midst of the rainy season and sent fleeing into the forest, often naked, without bedding, shelter or food, with many children dying from hunger and cold. What is that Dr James Okuk? Your people were massacre and you still kneel down in front of terrorists in Juba. Very regrettable! Oh my God!

More so, violence has started again in April 2011 with a SPLA crackdown on rebel controlled regions. Shilluk and well as Nuba are the alleged victims, who are you to deny the facts on ground?

Last week your top General and thirteen officers were massacre and you are still acknowledging the terrorists regime in Juba. Am very sorry for some PhDs holders in South Sudan, I doubt the professors who approved your Thesis.

Why confusing the Land history Dr. James Okuk?

The Nuer live mostly in Southern Sudan, in the east Upper Nile Province around the junction of the Nile River with the Bahr el Ghazal and Sobat Rivers, and extending up the Sobat across the Ethiopian border. Which land was taken by force by Nuer from Shiluk? Could you compare Nuer with Shiluk politically, militarily, intellectually or physically?

In history Archeologists indicate that the introduction of cattle in this area is related to the development of the distinct peoples the Nuer are descended from.  Oral traditions indicate that the Nuer have moved east of the Nile River only during the last 200 years.

They began an especially active migration about the mid 1800s.  As they moved gradually east, they pushed the Anuak farther east into Ethiopia.  During this period many Dinka people were incorporated into the Nuer community.

Anyway, impulsive Comments deserves to be avoided otherwise people will assumed that your PhD was given to you through shortcuts.

Stays bless!

My comment is directed at Dr. Okuk’s articles where he statistically calculated Nuer population then residing in Juba before December 15, 2013 minus those who fled to UNMISS, and Neighbouring countries after that. That will be equal to less than 20,000 as exaggerated by the Opposition, you said. I would agree with that statistical reasoning had there been census in Juba along ethnic lines. Unfortunately, there wasn’t and so this disqaulifies your denial of the Nuer population killed during that premeditated murdering of the innocents. Both victims community, South sudanese other ethnic groups present at the scene and the foreign observers including UNMISS have all put estimate of victims to that number +/-. The government officials did not deny that a great number of Nuer were killed. Some were buried by the killing soldiers while other victims were burned with gasoline. Western journalists who traveled to Juba weeks after that fateful days have all requested to visit mass graves where the government has buried its victims and they were denied from visiting the sites. This proved beyond doubt that the government was not honest to allow journalists to prove the number of victims killed to the public. In your other argument about Nuer expansion and forced evictions of Chollo from their land, I can say with certainty that you missed your point. Honestly, Nuer have no borders with Chollo Kingdom but Dinka do. Until now, there are no Nuer bordering Chollo or live in Chollo land as their own if not displaced people and government officials. Would you please specify with proof that Nuer have actually grabbed Chollo land? We your audiences know that you have been very open against the GRSS ever since but has been silenced after you were arrested, interrogated and then warned to die after that should you try to criticise the government again. With this in your mind, there is no doubt that you would curry-favor the government that had put you into house arrest until December 16, 20133 when you fled Juba for your safety. Anything you write about now and after is all about protecting your vulnerable life by using lies. Otherwise, you have been very honest in most of your writings before that.

1-My comment is short and specific to Gai Manyuon.
I have been reading all your articles since the war began in South Sudan, and when I analysis them, it seems to me that all your articles are influenced by ethnic ethos and cultural norms;and this will soon affect your academic reputation.
2-There is a phrase that Sociologists called ” Value free”, that is when commenting on or writing about different phenomena, your comments will be based on fact and free from personal predisposition and cultural influence.
3-Furthermore, to be a social or political scientist as you claimed , you would not have attack Dr.Okuk personally but you sould only attack his idea.
I am busy now writing my master thesis, and I am interesting really to respond your article.
you made too much claims on this article, and I am absolutely sure , you don’t have clues on what you wrote, even Nuer history. Don’t rely on oral sources, we are in postmodern world.

4-I don’t believe that someone will be awarded PhD without academic qualification. So, your claim that Dr.Okuk’s PhD is not real, is also a claim and that is why I said, if I am busy, I will respond this article, and I will in the near future .

Dr. Okuk should condemn the attrocities against Shilluk since he failed to condemn the rest around the country including Juba massacres of thousands of citizens in Juba.

Gai Manyuon,

You said all man. The man so call James Okuk is a complete idiot job seeker. I think he paid someone else to write his thesis as we all know that in Kenya one can buy any degree they want.

Okuk’s denial for Nuer massacre in Juba, indicate he is not an intellectual Ph.D, show that he is not only foolish Ph.D but job seeker. Okuk denial for Nuer massacre may earn him sum of money, but it will damage his political career in the future.

Let continue writing no make sense article, but he will pay the price of his goofy writing very soon.

Nuer culture of (outburst of bad temper) still appear in writing, it become a gene disease that can not be treated. Man, you uses a lot of insulting words explicitly which I never come across in Okuk an article. For an example, u uses words; disgrace, pocket interesting. “a Neurologist is a doctor who specializes in treating diseases of the nervous system.” I thought James Okuk doesn’t have nervous problem, the way I read his methodical though out an article. You give the wrong expression to a guy who is seem very an intellectually than you, according to the way you express yourself in your dearly an article. Now Man, you lied that Okuk denied the killing of Nuer. Okuk did not denied the killing of Nuer but dispute the number of Dead people. Now it would beg the question that, would James Okuk give you this name so called psychopathic disorder?

Your Dr has reduced his PhD status to that of a memo errant boy for hire. Dend II, this has nothing to do with culture. Asserting that it has anything to do with culture lousy projection my friend. Is Jaang & Teet’s culture to blatantly denies the truth of the matter. Is your Jaang & Teet culture a culture of lies and deception? Perhaps it is.

You talked of an outburst temper of Nuers when your murderous Jaang youths senselessly murdered a poor general from Teet, days ago the man is not even burry yet and you lie. Okay, to remind you of your nasty beast like Jaang temper, 20 or more bodyguards also died during the ambush that killed the general. In Dec/2013(some Jaang) indiscriminately murdered in massacred more than 20.000 South Sudanese citizens. How cooled or mild of a temper they had you can tell the world yourself.

Both of you coward Jurs are equally thoughtless and also hot tempered enough and ambush each other over a land dispute that need more of a peaceful civil settlement, to remind you of your nasty beast like Jaang temper both of you idiot Jur forgot that you are on the same side temporarily. You are actually not only hot tempered but as STUPID as they come. I think some Jaang like you Deng II has the most despicable, barbaric, and most violent temper best equated to sheer ignorance.

Wow,Nuer are confused, some are defecting to the so-called SPLM-IO and some of them are coming back to join the same government. Why big adults men of South Sudan become so desperately and moral decline? Why the so-called Addis Ababa and Nairobi become so important? They need to grow up and at least learn something, the all world is in recessions.

This seems to be an endless cycle of lies and unfounded accusations among members of this forum. It would be wise if Dr. Okuk could just ignore this idiot. There is no point at all in this article.

I also advise Mr. Manyuon to check the meaning of the term Neurologist in his dictionary. Because given the symptoms he mentioned, Dr. Okuk should have consulted a Psychiatrist not a Neurologist. Mr. Manyuon who is delusional should also see a Psychiatrist.

Leave James alone now,but take note. The more you write and respond to him the more he will feel important. Be confident, and do what you are doing in perfection. Okuk is a distractor. Spare your energy for something better. He is not worth the attention he is receiving from you people. Stop, leave him. He has no value to protect. Don’t smear your self with mud like him. He is dirty.

The propaganda & misleading mobilization made by some guilt and power-thirty politicians led to this flared situation in S Sudan. The current conflict was ignited and continuous to be fuelled by such a people who claimed to be independent journalists.

Mr.Manyuon claimed that he had two master degrees seem to me as another impulsive claim; because the way he wrote this article does not signified the qualification of Master degree but only demonstrates high school education.

I will not blam you Mr. Manyuon; my friend told me that he received two degrees at the same time in the same year in Addis Ababa Universities, I asked him how he managed to studied in two different universities and received two degrees at the same time; he replies to me that he only slept for two hours a day and as such he got two degrees.

The core of my argument here is that, South Sudan is the last country in Africa in term of education and therefore South Sudanese are trying to close a gap of academic disparity by rewarding themselves with multiple university degrees largely unsubstantiated.

Indeed, the dramatization of education in South Sudan will not only affects a future generation , but it should also engendered international disrespect to South Sudan academic institutions.

Sorry guys for a long comment.
I will write an article soon about it.
