April 2, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The Greater Upper Nile governors are the most vulnerable and voiceless governors in the South Sudan’s regime since before the war broke out in December 15, 2013. These governors value money more than their Nuer tribes. These governors are being unfairly exploited excessively against their own tribal people. The three governor of Greater Upper Nile are working like slave without questioning their master’s decision.

The war broke on December 15, 2013 when president Kiir made unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Dr. Machar and subsequently president Kiir ordered the mass murder of anyone seem to be from Naath tribe, which is the tribe of Machar in Juba, the capital of South Sudan. President Kiir accused Dr. Machar of planning a coup while Dr. Machar was on the run.

When Dr. Machar had emerged from hiding, he denied the coup, but said it was the regime tactic to suppress the oppositions within the party. Observers from Western nations, United Nations, African countries, and more than 95% of South Sudanese citizens proofed president Kiir wrong that there was no coup attempted by Dr. Riek Machar. However, president Kiir is still using the governors of Greater Upper Nile against their own Nuer people and the governors are continuing their atrocities against Nuer’s properties in favor of kiir’s dictatorship regime, which murdered Nuer indiscriminately in the capital, Juba and elsewhere in South Sudan.

The Governors of Greater Upper Nile are Political Pawns

The governors of Greater Upper Nile who are supposed to be public servants are now turn into political pawns who are murdering the citizens of their own states, day and night. The question is who will they rule if they finish murdering the citizens of their own states? For example, the governor of Unity State Joseph Nyuent Manytuiel is the most poker chip governor who is very busy killing his very people that he claims to rule. Joseph Nguent Manytuiel who holds a Veterinary Degree from Khartoum was appointed governor of Unity State by presidential decree.

Joseph Nguen Manytuiel is now actively dividing and killing the indigenous of Unity State. Nguent Manytuiel is now using his loyalists’ commanders from his own county to heartlessly murdered civilians from other counties. President Kiir is using Nguen Manytuiel as a token to protect Warrap, the home state of Kiir from rebels’ invasion.

Clement Wani Konga (Governor of Central Equatoria)

In his address to his Equatorians supporters in Juba, in January, 2015, Governor Konga, said “I will not be used against my own people like Nguen Manytuiel of Unity State”. I strongly agree with Governor Konga. In fact, Governor Nguen is actively helping Nuer’s enemy kill Nuer. Governor Nguent Manytuiel, mobilizes, recruits, and arms all Bul-Nuer boys in Unity State to fight against other Nuer in protection of Warrap State from rebels’ invasion.

Currently many Bul-Nuer boys lost their legs, arms, and eyes; they become the victim of the war which is not targeting them. The war creates visible scars and invisible psychological mental scars to poor Bul-Nuer boys. While the Warrap boys who are being protected by Bul-Nuer boys are studying, party, and playing sports. Besides using Bul-Nuer boys against their own Nuer brothers, Nguen Manytuiel loyalists are planting land mines in the North of Rubkona County targeting mostly Rubkona County residents.

Governors Kong and Kun

John Kong and Simon Kun are other Nuer tokens who are being used by Kiir excessively against other Nuer. These governors are persuading Nuer day and night to come to the government, yet they are not protecting Nuer in the government from being tortured by a dictator’s loyalists. I am not asking you to join the rebels, but protect Nuer people who are in the government and Nuer civilians who live in remote and tiny villages from landmines.

Media reports that Nuers in Malakal town are being killed every single day by the government they serve and the governor does not say anything to the killers of his tribe men and rapists of his tribe women. Landmines are being planted in Nasir County, the governor hometown, targeting the civilians living in the adjacent to Nasir County, but the governor is not saying anything to his loyalists.

Landmines are being planted in Ayod County and surrounding areas, but the governor of Jongeli State is not raising any concerns about the effect of landmines on civil’s population around Ayod town. I wonder if do governor Nguen, Kong, and Kun feel proud for the government they are serving while at the same time is killing their own people on the basis of their tribal affiliation.

If all the Dinkas pull out of SPLM/A-IO, will be you happy? Will you consider it a national struggle? In the same way that there are Dinkas who see sense in your senselessness, there are Nuer who see sense in the senselessness of the existence of South Sudan as a Republic. Yes, there are Dinkas who are working day and night to destroy South Sudan in the same way that there are Nuer who are working day and night to destroy South Sudan. Equally, I want you to know that there are south Sudanese, including the governors you described above as Nuer-Wew, who see sense in keeping the unity of senseful South Sudanese in the mids of this tribally laddened politics we are playing. Why don’t you ask Simon Kun who was with Dr. Riek from 1991-2002 and what makes him change his mind this time to be in the mother SPLM and not run away with Riek again? Why not ask Dr. Minytuil who was with Matip all his life and suddenly decided not to join Dr. Riek again? As for John Kong Nyuon, we know his nationalist stand from 1983 upto now, he never wavered t o stand with South Sudanese objective. As for Governor Konga whom you wrongly quoted above, do you think he is standing with his people? Where do Equatorians stand? They stand for Federalism and who advocates Federalism on behalf of Equatorians? Riek and Lado Gore. So, if he really stands wit h Equatorians, he should join Riek and Lado and we will understand your line of argument. Otherwise, you can’t have your cake and eat it too!

Nyaluak Lual,

Understand that the Nuer in the government are not killing Dinka in the government, and Nuer rebels are not killing Dinka in the rebellion either. If the government is belong to everyone in the government, then why they still killing Nuer loyalists?, why the government forces are burning Nuer-civilians facilities? Are Nuer in the government burning Dinka facilities? or Are Dinka in military burning Dinka-civilians properties?

What the author is saying is that let those governors speak up for those who stand with them. The writer is not asking the governors to join the rebellion, but protect Nuer-civilian in their control territories they should not be just political tokens in the government.

Yes, it is true that Governors: Dr.Nguen Manytuiel ,Mr. Kong, Mr.Kun,Mr.Kong and many others are killing you because you are foolish as well as you believe in the bullet of guns. Please, denounce the rebellion because fighting will never end unless you come back peacefully.

Don’t cry, this is consequence of war, you entered easily but you didn’t know how to come out while you are waging war and destructions against RSS.

Mr. Jaknyial,

The governor of Unity State Joseph Nyuent Manytuiel holds a degree in Human Medicine not Veterinary Medicine. And his degree has nothing to do with his behavior.

@ Nyaluak I don’t believe in your garbage claim. Which unity are you talking about? Mr.Bejiek got it right, kiir is really using Nuer-Wew to fight his own war against the Nuer. I know you are among the opportunists or maybe you got married by Warrap thugs. Dinka believes in their divided rule as a tool to destroy other tribes and then they can stretch out their kingdom. For your information, Mony Tuil , Kun Pouch and John Kong Nyuon are useless politicians, they only care about what goes in their pockets. Shame on you slut !!

Angelo,

I strongly agree with you. Nyaluak Lual is a political prostitute who value money more than the lives of her own tribe. Nyaluak Lual grieves the absent of money, but sheers the death of Nuer and denies it so she can receives more money from Kiir’s genocidal government that may kill tomorrow.
