Nov 7, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — In my view I disagree with president Obama’s words in which he says , ” To those who would tear this world down, we defeat you. To those who seek peace and security, we support you” the president made these remarks while addressing the crown celebrating his victory after the 2008 elections. Mr Obama went on to say that genocide is ‘a stain on our souls’ and promised, ‘As president of the United States I don’t intend to abandon people or turn a blind eye to slaughter. Yet, according to his actions for South Sudan in the seventh year of his Presidency , he continues to oversee a disastrous approach to the ongoing genocide against the Nuer people in South Sudan.

This approach has failed to prevent the tragic loss of countless civilian lives and the mass displacement and starvation of countless more innocent people. In my view , president Obama should review and develop a new pro-democracy and civilian protection-oriented policy on South Sudan.

Three years after the South of the then Sudan declared its independence from Sudan the country remain and still turbulent with armed groups emerged subsequently after the independent critically active in Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity state repectively. One year later, after the country celebrated its second independence anniversary in peace ( July 2013 ), the violence against the people of south Sudan in the country is raging, particularly in the Greater Upper Nile states of Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity where over 1.1 million people have been uprooted and driven away from their homes so far this year in Greater Upper Nile alone. The United States’ policy under Democratic party’s Barack Obama towards South Sudan is too conciliatory to the regime of President Salva Kiir Mayardiit whose administration is supposed to be indicted for war crimes by the International community.

Despite appointing several Special Envoys for South Sudan both before and after the 2011 separation of the South from the then unified Republic of Sudan, I believe that president Barack Obama administration has failed to properly address the ongoing violence and atrocities perpetrated by the South Sudanese regime let by General Salva Kiir Mayardiit.

South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardiit and the ruling Sudan People Liberation Movement – Juba Faction ( SPLM-Juba) have over this painfull year learned that there are few or no real consequences for their actions, that there are no consequences for breaking commitments, and no action beyond condemnation in response to continuing and expanding mass atrocities and genocide against the Nuer people.

There is no improvements in the situation of human rights violations in South Sudan since the conflict erupted in the country’s capital Juba particularly, in the three greater Upper Nile States of Unity , Upper Nile and Jonglei. There is an active systematic genocide currently being conducted against the people of the Upper Nile Region and Nuer in parlticular and masterminded by the government in Juba led by General Salva Kiir. Civilians, children and olderly people in particular are systematically subjected to torture, abduction and rape as part of the South Sudanese government’s ongoing campaign of violence in Greater Upper Nile and Equotoria regions. Women in South Sudan are really living with double trauma. The consequence of war and impunity their abnormal life and the gloomy future of their children exposed to human poverty and harship in the UN squaled camps, without education, and with no hope of jobs.

The second is from injustice. They see the perpetrators moving freely even after the UN issued statement calling the Juba massacre as a brutality and untolerated act of barbaric actions committed by Salva Kiir and his malitia-men.

While General Salva Kiir Mayardiit is busy systematically violating the ceasation of hostilities agreement and obstructing the peace talks and threatening to withdraw his delegation in Bahir Dar where peace talks are taking place currently, women, elders and young children in particular are dying from starvation and hunger, lack of health care, education, shelter, and lack of protection from increasing insecurity and continued violence instigated by the government in Juba. At this particular and critical point as a citizen of South Sudan , and from my heart as a son of this country after what I have seen after the genocide in Juba as well as in every part of the country and the increased attack on civilians stranded in UN camps, I have to and must ask for justice. On 28th October, government troops in Unity state with orders from president Salva Kiir Mayardiit attacked the SPLA in opposition hideout in which the consequence let to capturing of the oil hub Bentiu and has announced an increased effort to put down rebels in South Sudan, foretelling a new wave of violence that could further impact vulnerable populations.

US president Barack Obama and the Congress leave alone the Ruling Democratic Party must exert more effort so that they increase their public and private commitment to stopping that violence now.

The Negative Role Of US Policy In Middle East And Africa.

Often the Obama administration has been devastated by its economic interests and ambitions in Africa and the Middle East. The US none-military intervention but political intervention policy in most backward countries like South Sudan and Somalia in Africa and its military involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan ,The death of Colonel Muammar Gadhaffi of Libya , Incitement of revolution against the then Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarek , Imposition of economic and miltary sanctions on Sudan and Zimbabwe ,will be sensitive in this article.

The United State government under the Democratic party led by President Barack Obama has vandalised and traffic-incidented many countries within and prolonged the internal crisis of many countries as their way of achieving economic ambitions. The current civil war in South Sudan has been made worse by the Democrats and their administration under Obama. The United States government depends on destablizing foreign countries so as to gain momentum in intervening whether politically or militarily where it will be regarded as a peacelover who protects peace by other countries. It is obvious that if the United State want to put to an end the ongoing bloodshed in South Sudan the first thing it must to do is to take action above condemnation against the government of South Sudan and must call for justice and bring to book those responsible for Juba Massacre in which Morethan 20,000 Nuer unarmed and defensiless civilian were killed in cool blood by Slava Kiir’s malitiamen between 15-19 December without counting the subsequent killing of Nuer civilian in Bor town, Bor UN camp , Bentiu and Malakal town. But now it has appeared that the United States policy towards South Sudan is inferior , undully and so far favoring oneside which is the Salva kiir administration.

After the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in Nairobi, the united state fell threatened by Dr. John Garang de Mabior’s New Sudan vision and thus they have to get rid of his vision.

The United State after overlooking the civil war in Somalia for years, now it is too late for her to intervene in the situation. As it is now progressing it military involvement in Somalia it is now threatened all over tbe Middle East, North and west Africa by the advance of the Islamic State. The Nigeria’s former Al-Qaeda inspired Boko Haram whose name means Western culture is sin in Islam has declared it self as part of the active Islamic State in Iraq and al Sham and subsiquently declared a Islamic territory in the north of the country ( Nigeria ). The reason behind the US intervention is the rise of the mighty Islamic State around the globe in which the Obama administration is the target of the islamic state.

The December 1998 bombing of Iraq was a major four-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from December 16, 1998, to December 19, 1998, by the United States and United Kingdom. In this bombing the Anglo-US air strike killed many Iraqi children and vandalised many civil infrastracture as well. The contemporaneous justification by the US and that the reasons for the strikes was Iraq’s failure to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions as well as their interference with United Nations Special Commission inspectors.

The intervention of he US in the affairs of Libya and was not an achievement of international peace and instability while the sanctions imposed by the US upon Zimbabwe and Sudan were the result of Mugabe’s hatred towards the west and the Sudan’s critism of the United States.

If mr Obama is realy a champion of democracy why did he fell to apprehense Salva Kiir ? so US is interested in interfering in the affairs if the richest countries in which it work hard to undermine its progress.

United States foreign policy after the Second World War often was deemed failed to accomplish its objectives and behaved counterproductive. Force replaced diplomacy. Military solutions trampled negotiations. Counter- insurgency produced insurgents. The United States identified anti-communism as its principal guide to foreign policy during the Cold War, but similar policies continued after the Soviet Union’s collapse and disintegration. As the balance of terror receded, the United States confronted global terrorism, which obligated the unique world power to initiate a new war, the war against terrorism. This war does not recede; it grows, and as it grows, it becomes connected to another war, ‘the war against drugs. In Afghanistan, the U.S. wages a war against the poppy fields, the same war the Russia initially fought. In Mexico, a border war of drug violence exceeds the terrorist violence against America. Incoherent behavior has the U.S. war on terrorism’ serving to breed terrorism.

Throughout the Arab world, Northren Africa and some Islamic African countries revolutions have encouraged Al Qaeda look-alikes In the past and the powerful Islamic State Group. The US State Department officials seem to watch helplessly as sympathizers to the Islamic State in Nigeria, Somalia Syria and Iraq as well gain momentum , strength and support, while the U.S. Defense department scrambles to react to inept foreign policies. The administration of President Obama policies have been one-sided and have exhibited patterns that caused international catastrophes. Interference in internal affairs of nations and direct American military involvement have not brought peace and stability to the world.

There is no genocide in South Sudan. It is the regime change spin that Nuers in opposition are pursuing in the names of genocide, rape, burning, and castration. All of them are being used as a tool and propaganda to get rid of kiir because of Riek’s hatred of Dinkas. It is not because Salva Kiir has committed anything wrong to Nuers. This is a wrong way to do it. Get rid of Kiir in a democratic elections not by tarnishing Sudanese Culture of no rap, sleeping with children and killing of old people or women.

All sudanese have no culture of rape and sleeping with children.

During the civil war between South and north, you have never heard stories of SPLM raping any women. Nothing makes them different now.

The SPLM party is very disciplined when it comes to rape. Under SPLM led by late John Garang with his senior military officials such as Salva Kiir and Riek Machar, rape’s offenders get firing execution as a punishment. This punishment has never been changed. Many South Sudanese communities, including those who have been making such allegations against the SPLA Soldiers know very well.

The rebels come from the same SPLM. If it is true Nuers in rebellion and their supporters hate SPLM, they should hate SPLM In Opposition as well.

It makes you tribal when you dislike Kiir in favor of your own Nuer folks in opposition.

Rape and genocide are powerful words that African use to seek sympathy from humanitarian Organisations and international community. The words make international community emotional and that is why it so quick to respond. Lies such as these are not worth telling for the sake of seeking international community’s backing against innocent Kiir led government.

Nuers with rebels are using this strategy so the International community can help them come to power. Just remember changing a democratically elected government is going to solve that mystery.

Majority of South Sudanese would have abandoned the government if genocide and the alleged atrocities did actually happened.

The USA , UN and the likes are to lazy to establish facts on the grounds. Instead, they choose to act on unrealistic stories communicated to them verbally by those such as the rebels supporters.

If the US and UN believe the genocide has happened in Juba, they should dig up some skulls like ones seen in Rwandan genocide Museum.

A word to the world on South Sudan.

The reason for the war is that gasoline we have in Upper Nile. If the oil wells dry up, you would see no rebellions. All those tribal hatred will disappear. Human groups’ negative concerns will ease off silently.

If there was no oil in the former whole Sudan, some European nations and the US which helped us achieved independence would have not heard about the suffering of South Sudanese during the past civil.

The US and some european countries need that oil but they are not getting it after the independence. So, they have a strategy of getting it. Bully Salva Kiir out of his presidential office first.

To do this, tormenting agents such as the UN, Enough Project, Amnesty International, NGOS which are headed in South Sudan by those who come from the US or some european nations have been deployed to do the task of publicizing with a spin any rebel supporters’ allegations of rape, burning and killing that lack enough evidence.

These groups of organizations invented genocide, fake rapes similar to those that were heard in Congo ‘ s conflict and other grossed atrocities which are daily being repeated to tarnish image of Kiir.

Once, they are done ruining the government image, approval to obtain lince to overthrow the government is sought through patronizing AU and IGAD that receive proceeds from the same International community.

As an honor, the IGAD gives international community a green light for sanctions on the government while ignoring tdisapproval of its actions by majority of South Sudan citizens.

After that the government clasps economically and military.

The tribal rebels takeover.

In the end, the backers will need the oil that they were not getting from Kiir. The rebels who would be now a government will have a real problem of trying to market that oil to their helpers because Sudan which owns pipelines and existing oil companies that are not from the US and some european nations would be the biggest challenge to throw away in favor of new friends.

In the background, still the rebels are in business?
