April 13, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- As the implementation of the compromise peace agreement signed in Addis Ababa nearly a year ago now reaches its climax, there seems to be serious states of confusion over its due implementation following clear violations of almost all the provisions of the peace accord by the Jieng Council of Elders (JCE) led government.

Even as the armed opposition (IO) tries to exert all they can to ensure prevalent of peace in the country, the government (IG) are extremely doing the very contrary, actions which clearly show that the IG completely have no interest in bringing peace back to the people. It seems the government has reached its full ambition of how and where the country should be (status quo).

Referring the readers to a “proverb” in the most respectable book in life, the “bible”, (Proverbs 16:5) says “Everyone who is arrogant, is an abomination to the lord, be assured, he will not go unpunished”.

I likened this to the arrogant styles the JCE led government has employed, in procrastinating expeditious peace implementation with Chief of General Staff (Paul Malong) boasting that he does not want to see Dr. Machar being president in the Republic of South Sudan except in his absence. This leaves me with few questions to Gen. Malong, should millions of south Sudanese opt to elect Dr. Riek Machar as the country’s president, who are you alone to deny him (Machar) presidency? Are you the only person making decisions for the people of this country over who should or not be president in this country?

Remember, you can cheat people once in a time but you cannot cheat people all the times and I literally mean, whatever evil plan you cooked and succeeded in 2013 will work no more, that pride will end in a very painful manner if you do not rethink your actions. This country is borne of God’s mercy hence, whoever acts arrogantly shall never go unpunished and this is what President Salva himself and his cohorts need to understand.

You (purported JCE) should understand that this country accommodates us all and none of us is superior to the other, and it is never inscribed anywhere that South Sudan will be led exclusively to the Dinka tribe alone or somebody called Riek Machar must not lead, therefore, whatever evil plans you planned, either to kill or block Riek from ascending to presidency are already doomed to fail and that must be taken for a serious note.

It must be noted, that, CPA II is inevitably coming to our country and, whether or not a certain group of purported elders like it, what we abundantly need now is to allow peace to reign, give our nation a chance to reconcile and recover from the economic hardship it is going through.

As a nation, we have to employ methods upon which, our country should be pulled out of the eminent “economics collapse” a (hyperinflation) resulting from about 22 months of devastating conflict instead of issuing threats of who should lead or not lead the country, deliberate refusal to let Dr. Riek take oaths of office in fear of what is unexplainable.

God bless to be Federal Democratic Republic of Sudan.
