Nov 9, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — ‘’No Nation without citizens and no citizens without a Nation, he who persecutes the citizens persecutes the nation’’. Although few acknowledged, but many S.Sudanese citizens including the international community miss fired the word ‘’rebel’ and tagged it on a wrong target (SPLM-IO) while in actual sense the reverse is true. The World under the administration of President Barack Obama seems to be breeding more Terrorist groups that some are not yet branded as ‘’worst and barbaric terrorists’’ ever exist due to the world’s super powers ignorance to act. No one in his/her right consensus could differentiate the ISIL terrorist group fighting the U.S and Iraqi government in Iraq and Syria from the Terrorist group in South Sudan fighting the people’s resistance movement(SPLM-IO).
To educate the world and the South Sudan public at large, a Terrorist is a radical who employs terror as a political weapon, usually organizes with other terrorists who often use religion as a cover for terrorist activities. And Terrorism is a calculated use of violence or the threat of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature. This is done through intimidation, coercion and instilling fear.
To equate the definitions of terrorist and terrorism, the NRM of Uganda under the leadership of President M7 is a co-partner in organizing terrorist activities in the great Lake region, and the SPLM/A under the instructions and leadership of Salva kiir ever since ascended to power has been using terrorism acts against the South Sudan citizens, which began with the massacres perpetrated on following communities; Dinka Atar, Murle, , Shuluk and the Nuer simply because he (Kiir) fell out with the following leaders hail from those communities. To mention few; the then Capt. David Yay Yay, col. Gatluak Gai kuai, Lt. Gen George Athor, Maj. Gen Tanginye, , Dr. Lam Akol and finally with Dr. Riek Machar Teny. These Men expressed dissatisfaction on how Kiir runs the state quo. Had the world been attentive with all these evidence of terrorism acts, Salva Kiir and his cohorts in crimes against humanity could have been branded the ‘’Worst and Barbaric Terrorists’’ in the world and collectively forced out of power.
The world declared war against ISIL because of the beheading of the western citizens especially from the U.S and U.K. in Middle East and ignored to act on a man that mass graved innocent citizens in South Sudan. As citizens of South Sudan, we therefore share the pains and sufferings the people of South Sudan are subjected to by Salva kiir and his group. Our heartfelt condolences reach out to the families of the deceased who lost their lives in this Kiir’s imposed war. The world must know that South Sudan as a Nation did not rebel against itself but the man(kiir)who hijacked leadership after independent rebelled against the Nation by turning it into a ‘’slaughter house’’ where he slaughters innocent citizens in their tenth of thousand and therefore carries no legitimacy any more from the south Sudan public. The Syrian Nation coalition movement has been recognized as a movement that represents the interests of the Syrian people and regarded the Assad’s government t as a terrorist group that chemical-poisoned its very citizens it represented. We cordially urge the international community and the troika to recognize the people’s resistance movement (SPLM-IO) as the legitimate government of South Sudan.
