May 18, 2017 (Nyamilepedia) —— On Monday, S. Sudan’s President Salva Kiir, in a presidential decree broadcasted live on SSTV reshuffled the army and changed its name; Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA) to South Sudan Defense Forces (SSDF). Again, on Tuesday, the president’s mouthpiece, Ateny Wek appeared on the TV to announce that the army’s name Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) has not been changed to South Sudan Defence Forces (SSDF) as widely reported. In his view, those who claimed the name of SPLA has been changed to SSDF are apparently hallucinating because there was no such thing broadcasted on TV.

“The acronym of SPLA still stands as the name of the South Sudanese Army” Ateny defended, even if original announce is still accessible on YouTube videos.

However, sources from the president’s camp who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity has admitted that indeed the name change was true. The source claimed, it was a proposal made by the new army chief of staff, apparently to change the perceptions of the public and international communities about S. Sudan’s army, since name SPLA has always been associated with human right abuses, genocides, rape etc. Rebranding it would hence cleanse the image of the genocidal robots and restore the long-lost trusts;

And this would see a hierarchy in the ranks of the army led by the Commander in Chief of the Army (himself); the Minister of Defense and Veteran Affairs; the Chief of Defense force; the Deputy Chief of Defense force – Inspector General; the Assistant Chief of Defense force for administration, personnel and finance; the Assistant Chief of Defense force for Operations, Training and Intelligence; the Assistant chief of Defense for Logistics and Procurements; the Commander of Ground force; the Commander of Air force and Air Defense and the commander of Riverine units supposedly all under a new name, South Sudan Defence Force. It’s previous records, would all be forgotten, and probably Human right group would erase their previous findings, and the Mathiang Anyoor terrorists would also masquerade as SSDF.

Instead of putting the hypothesis to test, and see how thing goes, a team of JCE conclave who are known for orchestrating the genocidal president, converged and made a quick review about the brand-new name of the SPLA, and their resolve was that the name SSDF sounds like a copy-paste of Uganda people Defence Force. Upholding the new name would remind the masses and the international communities about the presence of Museveni’s paid mercenaries, (UPDF) in South Sudan, something which they have always wanted to deny.  This explains why the presidential speaker, Ateny was sent to clear the air again and deny the change of name of the genocidal forces, SPLA.

The only mistake he (Ateny) made was, he did not organise his speech. He wanted to make the people admit that they have been experiencing hallucination when they thought they heard the president change the name of its tribalized army SPLA to SSDF.

Hallucination is simply an experience involving the apparent perception of something not present. Ateny believes people were experiencing both; visual hallucination because what they watch on TV didn’t happen, and, auditory hallucination as a result they heard an announcement that wasn’t made.

This kind of drama only shows how Kiir’s tribal faceless men at J1 known as the Jieng Council of Elders (JCE) are manipulating the new Army Chief of staff. Should he not dance per their tune he may either be axed like Paul Malong or be killed but it is not up to us to speculate.
