Self-centred Men who Married 50 (Fifty) Wives are the ones Fuelling South Sudan Conflict

June 4, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Corruptions and crimes such as bribery, embezzlement, nepotism and war plus many more are caused by the leaders who have married fifty wives or multi-marriages. Chief of General Staff, Paul Malong Awan and President, Salva Kiir Mayardit are in that circle.

There is no doubt that Paul Malong Awan and Salva Kiir Mayardit are the ones fuelling South Sudan’s conflict. Under their leadership, South Sudan will forever remain divided and thus country instability will never come to an end. This is because their main aim is to feed their families and children, not thinking of the country and its people.

South Sudan’s conflict is not between Nuer and Dinka tribes, it is between interests. Interests of those who wanted to live under chaos, corruptions and oppression leadership and those who want to bring the change of stability, peace and fair justice in the country.

Paul Malong Awan and Salva Kiir Mayardit recruited, trained and equipped their tribal men, that is, Mathiang Anyoors and Gelwengs under the guise of protecting Dinkan’s interest against other South Sudanese tribes. This was not the purpose; however, it was a plan to protect their wealth. Mathiang Anyoors and Gelwengs are innocents. They were misled and deceived with unfolded purpose. Therefore, even if criminal justice needs to be served today, they cannot be guilty or be charged with anything but instrumental offences and accessories. The conflict causers, transgressors and real serial killers are Paul Malong Awan and Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The main concerns of Paul Malong Awan and Salva Kiir Mayardit are their wives and children. They stressed and depressed with their families’ responsibilities, thus, their staying in the leadership is not the aim of leading people but it is the question they always ask themselves with- “who will feed our fifty wives and hundreds of children once we stepped down from the leadership”! Without their families pressure on them, peace should come into place in a minute. This pressure of their families’ feedings will not let the two leaders practice patriotic country’s leadership, rather than pushing down, destroying and leading country and its people on the verge of collapse.

Although international communities such as UK, USA and Norway and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) countries have wasted their times and resources in order to bring peace in South Sudan, I doubt that peace will prevail, however, unless some wives from Paul Malong Awan and Salva Kiir Mayardit are being divorced.

I felt that what triggered conflict and prevent peace to come in South Sudan are those who have fifty wives or multi-marriages. But what they do not know is that South Sudan is bigger than their families. Even if someone wished death to their families and it happens, South Sudan should still exist. And South Sudan should not be a country if all 64 (sixty-four) tribes perished.

South Sudan is rich in terms of resources – only good management needed from those who call themselves leaders. If its resources are well managed, then the cumbersome situation South Sudanese are now facing should not be in place and everyone can get something little. And those who wanted to destroy the country for their families’ benefits would still survive and live a good life.

“South Sudan’s conflict is not between Nuer and Dinka tribes, it is between interests. Interests of those who wanted to live under chaos, corruptions and oppression leadership and those who want to bring the change of stability, peace and fair justice in the country” it would have been nonsensical have you realise it ealier instead of misinforming your illiterate war mongars of lou nuer which you have used as a tool to get into power, that the conflict is between Dinkas and nuer which is a pure propaganda and baseless.

If that be the case ,how many wives does Riek Machar have to sustain ,had his coup attempt succeeded? It is unwise to state this as the cause of this war, what about 1991,was it because Riek had many wives that he defected to Arabs after having massacred Bor natives. This actually confirms what people normally profess ,that Nuer lacks memory. This is a tactic of political diversionary .

Nuers should put in their minds that war was not wives of Malony and Kiir but greedy hearts of humans being without human mental(nuers)

this is why South Sudan is in a full crisis, because you guys do not understand the all scenario and the truth of the matter, I personally do not wish any S. Sudanese loss his/her way over this senseless ware created by chaotic leaders. As we all know that the fight started as political and then turned to tribal mind set, please the current tribal leader Salva was previously elected constitutionally by all of us, it was not that Dinkas were the best in South Sudan but for the betterment of our Country . Sudan
Please behave Southerners not Dinkas. To me Paul Malong and Salva are the people in S.Sudan do not defense them as Dinkas .

We need to accept the truth. Failing to accept the truth will not bring us together and South Sudan won’t be a country. The writer of this article put it right so would like all of us to appreciate him. He brought up a crucial point which has never been brought up since South Sudan’s conflict began.

With the present of Dinka tribe in South Sudan, no generation will live in peace. Dinka lies are more and bigger than their populations. They are created to live in lies and accusations. They don’t feel comfortable and happy when haven’t accused anyone or other South Sudanese tribes. Bad behaviour ever.

Look at the background of riak and judge yourself from there, Dinka nor Nuer is not an issue here. See whether riak is a patient man or not.

I know brother why you are mentioning Riak back ground as bad, it was because he managed to airy out the failure of Salva to run the affiars of our Country which is normal in any Country with democracy, but for you guys you took the country leadership for granted, please revised your senses of reasoning and call Dinka land as South Sudan land not belong to Dinkas only.

What bother us we citizens of South Sudan, is how to end this senseless war. The question now is not many wives married by principal leaders or their many conquerbies .Let me tell you this scripture’s facts about: King David he was blessed by the living God ,and he married seven hundreds (700) wives and three hundreds conquerbies. But he most ever wisest leader that ruled Isreal.
In contrast to our two leaders the didn’t asked the living God to give them wisdom to rule these people; of South Sudan .Here fellow citizens you must know the power orginated from God and to God. Therefore power to rule was a divine gives and people you are created by God.Any wrong ruleship that doesn’t not respect humanbeings it does not come from. It’s end shall be from God it will be a total ruin, see by your self the fall of mightiest dictators for instant : Dr., field-marshal , life President Idi Amin Dada of Uganda ; Gen Saddam Hussein of Iraq .and Mammar el Gaddafi of Libya ,but Almighty God put to an end theory brutal

We don’t want to be backwarded individuals. We are in 21csntury where things are completely different. Comparing our leader with old days leaders won’t help us. David time is not our time so we need to act differently. Gidaffi is for Lybia and Iraq is not South Sudan. South Sudan and its people have their own problems. We need to talk on our problems not other people or countries problems. We need to clean our backyards first, then will clean other people’s backyards later. You guys are backwarded people and you can’t bring change without admitting the truth. Telling the truth will set us free but dodging it will let us not go anywhere and South Sudan will have no peace-generations to come will live their lives in suffering. This article above stated facts and realities. Leaders should not married more than 100 wives in these days of ours. This is because country’s resources will go to their families and the rest of the people will live under poverty. This is the country we want? I think no. We want our country and its people to be stable and live in Unity. Think big and make sure you’re the futur of South Sudan. Don’t advocate someone because he/she is your relative. Advocate him/her with legitimate reason. “United we stand divided we fall”.

First I want to caution our contributors that we must maintain the ethics of journalism by avoiding personal attacks, insinuations and hate statements. indeed the writer of the article brought up a good topic “polygamous leaders are responsible for corruption and conflict in South Sudan”. It is up to the contributors to prove him right or wrong rather than avoid issues and go to fallacies and personalities. let us make the debate reasonable and enjoyable. By the way even in peace talks you outwit your opponents not through insults and general statements but through logic and good reasoning. I also appeal to our website moderators to be more vigilant and detect any unintellectual debate. Thanks.
