March 20, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — When you conduct an in-depth analyst and monitor closely the mounting International and Regional pressure toward the Salva Kiir regime to attain peace in order to bring back the stability in the Country and the president Kiir regime strong resistance on the international quest for peace due to fear of anticipated military coup by the elites or perpetrators of the Juba ethnic cleansing project against the innocent Nuer civilians. You can really realize the hardship and pressure that President Kiir is undergoing and it is also clear that, the future for peace and stable South Sudan still very far from reach.

After crosschecking many failed valuables initiatives to bring peace and stability back to the Country and the slow progress toward developing roadmap to attain final peace, I believe the quest for peace though very vital to the current deteriorated situations for common man in the country still needs million miles to reach peaceful settlement for sustainable peace. The President Kiir’s resistance to peaceful resolutions of the ongoing deadly and brutal conflict due to looming intimidation and threat of military coup from Gen Paul Malong who is now in control of the Dinka elders group is a great challenges and stumbling block to the South Sudanese quest for peace, stability and recovery.

The recent public rally conducted by President Kiir in Juba has thrown the aspiration of South Sudanese citizens for peace to the dustbin and eroded the hope of the poor and marginalized population who are currently living under hardship and inhumane living conditions in the very remotes areas and outskirts of urban centers due to negative impacts of the ongoing deadly and brutal war imposed on them by President Kiir and his elites.

The testimonies and facts from many poor disadvantages residents and low income groups clearly indicated that the country economy and social fabrics is at the blink of collapsed and the quest for one nation and one people to live as a citizens of one country is at great danger due ongoing conflict.

The inflations rate of the hard currency against the South Sudan Pounds is increasing and become unaffordable on daily basis. The today data in Juba stated that 1 USD jumped to 8SSP for the first time in the South Sudan history.

The capital city of the South Sudan is now black out due to shortage of fuel in the Market and the scarcity of hard currency in the Country Central Bank to import goods.

The retails traders and transportation operators are seriously affected due to unavailability and high prices of fuel and hard currency in the Country.

The recent leaked information from Juba revealed that government has now run out of money and resorted to locally printing of fake South Sudanese Pounds to pay the soldiers who we were sent to frontline.

The National universities are at potential risk of closing their doors to students because the Minister of Finance and Economic planning clearly stated that no money to pay the entitlements of the lecturers.

The young people who had been working with private foreign and local companies lost their employment because of the economy collapsed and many investors are phasing out their business in the country due to fear of continuation of war.

The government cannot any longer afford to pay the hotels owners who accommodated government officials at good gestures for very long time because no money in the Ministry of Finance and Economy Planning.

Some government directors and ministers families who had been living a luxury life in East Africa are now relocating to refugee’s settlement as they cannot any longer afford living condition due to high inflation and potential economy collapsed of the South Sudan.

The Uganda and South Sudan allied militias are being faced by salary payment delayed and irregularity as the regime struggle to raised money from external loans.

The parliament activities were suspended because government cannot any longer afford to fund the sessions and operational cost due to lack of money from Ministry of Finance and Economy Planning.

The South Sudanese IDPS who stranded in Khartoum for nearly five years waiting for repatriation are now forced to become refugees in Khartoum because the allocated budget was corrupted and the government cannot raise fund to transport them back home.

The Children are forced to prostitutions due to high poverty as copping mechanism and the number of street children has increased in major cities including Juba town.

The Sudan government openly declared that Abyei and Miles 14 as part of the Sudan and it will occupied by all means and government could not reacted.

The Kenya defense forces are now occupying Nadapal town and other South Sudan territory and government of South Sudan could not react as they envisage potential risk.

The Uganda is also redrawing and changing the border in KejiKeji County and government cannot react to the occupation of the South Sudan territory.

Most of the greater Upper Nile region had been deserted by local population and become no man land as majority immigrated to Khartoum and Ethiopia in search for services and security.

The Universities students who were sponsors by the government of South Sudan were forced to drop out because the government cannot any longer afford to pay for their universities fees.

The reliable sources from the Bilpam Military Headquarter stated that , the wives of the war veterans has increased and can spend nearly one week to received their dead husbands salary . This clearly indicated that lot of Salva Kiir forces lost their lives in the battle fields in Greater Upper Nile region.

With all the above mentioned few social indicators on the performance of South Sudan government under President Salva Kiir. The best answer without doubt is that the future of the Country and people is at very high risk.

The testimonies from the citizens and government soldiers in the frontline revealed that, the regime will not be able to win this war militarily on timely manner to bring back hope to needy people in South Sudan and there is great fear of more defections within military rank in next coming six months.

I believe that Presidents Salva Kiir and his cohort need peace and stability for them to enjoy the looted resources from the poor and marginalized South Sudanese and I believe any failure to bring peace and stability to South Sudan will create more social problem and insecurity for every citizens including Kiir .

I believe the Poor populations had already felt and surrendered to poverty as they cannot afford to provide one meal to their family and dependents per day due to high living cost in the Country.

The burning question before President Salva Kiir is what is the best choice for him?

  1. Is President Kiir ready to go to International Criminal Court for genocide in Juba?
  2. Is President Kiir ready to attain peaceful settlement of conflict and ask for forgiveness from victims of genocide?

The choice remain with President Kiir .It is my personal believe that   peace will means better choice for President Kiir and open new chapter for the people of South Sudan to restart their life and work to promote reconciliation , healings and development of infrastructures for the next generation .

My sincere advice to President Salva Kiir is to weight between hit of thigh and head   . The best and light burden to President is to work for peaceful settlement of the ongoing deadly and brutal killing and ask for forgiveness from the South Sudanese populations who lost their love one and properties during the cycles of hostilities.

I believe the people of South Sudan will forgive him though the history of the country may not forgive him for imposing hardship and inhumane living condition to his own citizens or risk to died in power or exposed the South Sudanese to shame for him being dragged to International Criminal Court (ICC) for charges of genocide, Ethnic Cleansing, Crimes against humanity and war crimes like Charles Taylor the former President of Liberia and Laurent Bagbo the former President of Ivory Coast.

The choice between hell and paradise for President are eminent and reality. Eye with Eye or Justice for all.

It doesn’t matter. 5,000 years of history and what do you have to show for it.

I don’t think the failing of Addis Ababa peace agreement should be blamed on Juba’s government instead, putting your blaming directly to former vice president who turned rebel leader. The rebels leadership were very unwillingly to give up on anything in order to make peace come true. They change agenda after every deal is to be reach and that make it too difficulty to have signed peace agreement. You can not demand Federal system to be adopted immediately when the nation has its constitutions, you can not go back to take foot-step of CPA in 2005 and say, I wanted two separated armies in small nation this is not going to happen trust me. What we have seen is demanding, demanding, demanding and the rebel leader care less to suffering people and he care more about leadership. Please keep singing about taking president Salva Kiir to ICC but you will never know who will go first in between former Nasir leader who murders 30,000 Dinka Bor civilians and the current president who have had accused his VP on coup attempted..

You are not innocent ,how do you write about what you do not know. You have never been to Juba ,according to your statement ,Do you really talk about what you do not know? it is typical denial .Being concerned does not prove one person to be a culprit as you are thinking ,we shall fish you out.

A barking dog never bite when the elephant is passing.
Lual Magok your words will not take our belove and able president to ICC as you think.
it’s Riek to first go to ICC because of genocidal act in 1991 at Bor.

Riek Machar doesn’t want peace because of his life and risk to go back to Juba unless they force him to sign peace agreement and stay in exile. John Garang himself was like Machar because Garang by then has no interest in peace he was afraid of losing power and also he was aware that majority of population didn’t like him and his united Sudan at all.

Mr Lual thank you for your articles I am really enjoy reading all your articles. It is much more flavor to see some one like you put a lot of energy or an effort of digging unfound details. You sound seem like young man and I wish you a bright journey as a writer. These people who always denounce you they know the truth but they don’t want someone to bring those things up. I am personally follow up from day one up to now but one thing I know someone will pay back the blood of annocence citizens. I think every one know the truth is always bitter that’s why they denounce you also it the same you can see to Dr Riek live in bushes because he got denial by telling the truth.
