12th May, 2015 (Nyamilepedia) — I would like to advise Ambassador Gordon Buay to avoid dragging Gen. Tito Biel‘s name into his media war. On 10th May, 2015 he alleged that the above mentioned war veteran had a hand in the skirmishes that occurred between some youth at UN camp in Juba. Last year around June, he parroted similar accusations that Gen. Tito Biel Chuor commanded military attacks on government forces in the capital Bentiu; that he was responsible for violating the cessation of hostilities agreement.
I hereby want to inform South Sudanese generality that such clumsy claims labeled against General Tito are just but a trash. In the same vein, I urge the public to ignore the aforesaid claims as mere propaganda peddled to tarnished Shujaa’s image among the young generation who adore him as staunchest separatist who relentlessly fought for South Sudan independent.
Many of you knew General Tito’s military records during the pre-South Sudan independent era, had he decided to take part in the ongoing war, you wouldn’t hear his actions through Gordon Buay, it would be in the public domain.
I wish to state herewith that General Tito is not party to this senseless war that has bedeviled our country and has deprived our people of their dignity. If he so wish to fight back, it could be at the time when he was irregularly purged as Unity state Security chief 2005-2007 by current unity state governor’s predecessor. Evidently, it was after he left the realm via presidential decree that Unity State became Disunity state to date. When he left, the media freedom was emasculated and dictatorship installed hence robbed us of the gains of liberation struggle.
General Tito Biel is a personal friend to President Salva Kiir and former vice president Riek Machar. As matter of fact, he is in record as having spearheaded and signed the Wunliit peace accord with President Salva Kiir who was then his counterpart when he was overall military chief in the defunct Sudan people defense forces (SPDF); it was the said accord that necessitated the advent of SPLM/SPLA rebirth in 2002; thereby leading to promulgation of the comprehensive peace agreement (CPA) which ultimately brought our country independent to fruition in July 2011.
Even though the duo eventually betrayed him after ascending to power, he chose to remain mum for the sake of the country stability, but history has it that a King who betrayed his comrade does not deserve to be crowned….take that to the bank……
I challenge you Gordon to halt treading on this path. Don’t blaze your gun on people who are indifferent to engage you on same. General Tito has chosen to take a back seat in far this ongoing war is concern and allow those who have appetite to dance with it. There is always a time to live a public life and private life which is gesture that we ought to embrace. The fact that he decided to retract and went underground while his colleagues are still looting and ransacking the country shouldn’t be misconstrued for weakness; instead they should follow his foot step to allow fresh blood take charge of country affairs. People can’t hold public offices for life, there should be time to serve the public and time to pass the leadership baton.
General Tito is a statesman and respected Elder of Lich community. His pass disparity with General Peter Gadiet and the likes wasn’t personal but minor issues over policies and management of priorities. If you think you can scratch or dig into that to perpetuate division within Lich community, be assured that you’re on a journey in futility.
I partially respect a few attributes in you, but i can only respect your right to speak your mind on the truth but not when you speak untruthfully about others with aim to injure their character.
I heard you’re legal counsel who studied in Canada where protection of individual rights is the bread of the day. I presumed you know better than I do on the rights of man. You have been bragging that you’re committed to defend the transitional constitution, what does that law say about the things you’re speaking about? Take it from me, if you have been told that General Tito is in this war, you better consult your informant.
Remember you were once a rebel spokesman who has just been integrated recently. You haven’t showcased any reasons for your rebellion. General Tito didn’t take arms against the government. So who is more credible between you?
You have been croaking all along that you’re government mouthpiece or Salva Kiir’s handler when you have once described him as nothing but village chief who cannot manage state affairs. You haven’t told us what has change nor did you apologize for insulting the presidency. Can this not lead you be charged for insubordination?
In May 2013 when your movement (SSLA) returned after it said to have accepted the so call amnesty offer, I rallied Unity state students in East Africa to write a landmark petition to President Salva Kiir and Taban Deng; titled ‘‘Unity State Students in East Africa Salute Rebels for Accepting Amnsty’’ published on Sudan tribune warning the duo of dire consequences should they butcher you as they did to Colonel Gatluak Gai whom they slaughtered while his forces were being integrated. We described your decision to return as bold and historic while urging the state to swiftly address your grievances that led to your rebellion so as to curb future unrest.
I fought for you assuming perhaps you had an agenda to reform the misrule, remember being reintegrated is not an achievement, your rebel leader Bapiny Munytuil was made Lieutenant General with no deployment and some of your junior officers got scattered like grains in the planting field, you have recently been appointed as an Ambassador in Juba. How can you be an Ambassador in juba? Usually, an Ambassador do represents his mother country abroad. Even if we go by your appointments, it still raises million questions; was that what you rebelled for?
Can you dare compare the gains of your rebellion to that of David Yau Yau that has achieved Greater Pibor Administrative area?
We must mature up our politics and people like you who are privileged to have traversed the civilized world owe the country a duty of care to inject transformative politics of reforms and total deliverance of social democracy, rule of law and constitutionalism. Those are the principles on which society grows.
The aforementioned statements you made are in form and character very provocative, and I advise you to refrain or keep General Tito’s name out of your media antagonism. Leave him to concentrate on other issues that are paramount important to the society. The day he decides to join either side of the conflict, May be not your side, you can think of doing what is best for you because in war its matter of life and death. But for now avoid dragging Gen. Tito’s name on your media war.

Ambassador with out a designated country to represent. That should not face Buay he can imaginatively assigned himself some imaginary country to represent and the good thing is he Buay doesn’t have to talk about it either. Boy what a life..
Gordon Buay is simply a mad man, his media complains are not validated.
