We are ready to follow Al-qaeda’s footsteps if US try to impose peace: South Sudan Army Chief of Staff

July 31, 2015(Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Paul Malong Awan, who has been recently accused by the Human Right’s Watch of being responsible for massacres and war crimes in Unity State, has lashed out at the United States for urging the warring parties in South Sudan to sign peace by August 17, 2015.

Gen. Malong warns that he and the rest of the army, under Salva Kiir, were ready to follow in the foot steps of the Al Qaeda terror organization, if necessary, in order to resist US from imposing peace on the Juba regime.

“this so called IGAD peace proposal is useless, We can’t accept it even if US forces us to do so” said a furious Paul Malong.

While addressing a crowd of government loyalists on occasion of the Martyrs day in the capital, Juba, Malong warned that if the US impose the peace document on the government then the regime would rather rebel and follow the footsteps of terror groups.

“I better be a rebel…. You should know that those who are in Al-Qaida, Taliban, Isil, Boko Haram, Alshabab …. they are human being like us, therefore we should follow their foot-steps than signing that fake peace” said Gen.Paul Malong, who is president Kiir’s army chief.

Malong told the crowd at Garang’s Museleum in the capital that his government was not ready to sacrifice positions of individuals, who fought for liberation, in order to accept the current peace proposal.

“We are not going to accept to replace Stephen Buay, who has resisted in division one, and then Nhial Batong, Pul Jang, and two sector commanders, Gong Biliu and Chathath Lam. We will not replace them with those who have rebelled” said Malong.

Malong was referring to generals from the Nuer-tribe of former Vice President, who are battling rebellion in the Greater Upper Nile region.

During the martyrs day celebration, President Salva Kiir, whose termed expired in July, also objected the Peace Proposal claiming that the oil is in Dinka dominated areas of Greater Upper Nile, and therefore the region should not be given away to the rebels.

Mr. Kiir has voiced his dissatisfaction with the rebel group getting 53% power share in the three states of Greater Upper Nile, claiming that his government should instead get the 53%.

Two days earlier Juba formed three committees to deliberate on three different sections of the IGAD compromise peace  agreement proposal.

The committee are due to submit their finding today, Friday July 31, however, critics reiterates that the committees’ decision is already influenced by the comments of the two powerful individuals.

You are bucking like a dog without teeth. This time not in Equatoria terrritories. If you want to form a terrorist organization go to Bhar el Gazal and that is where and when the game will come to an end for people like you who do not want peace.

Dear Loguca,

I agree. Dinka from koryom, tingilo, etc entered Equatoria in early 90s as sick and hungry men after their training in Ethiopia. Equatorian villages fed and treated the weak and sick SPLA soldiers only for them to turn on those who helped them.

Malong’s dinka men will no longer be entertained to wage their senseless wars inEquatoria since a compromise peace has been proposed.

Kiir and Malong can’t wage a war in BAhr el Ghazal region where they can’t get the required logistics from Museveni.

Loguca, let’s join hands to make all our hills and valleys inhospitable to the jenges; they killed so many Equatorians when they returned to Sudan in the early 90s!

Dr.Riek Machar doesn’t want to go back to Juba,so you have to hunt him down and peace will come after that.

Machar is hoping for a negatiated transitional miracle. There will never be such a thing happening believe me. Hothnyang and Gadet can take over juba anytime but the stagnant leadership is fearing lack of recognition from the international powers. Should Juba fall and a military gov can get the politicians to elect a new government within a period of time.

Thanks, just browsing by. F.. AGU – STUPID- MUT, Abuchieth & Deng Zero and all the sypathizers of this tribal and genocidal gov of Jaang. They can go to Bar El Gazal. UPPER NILE must be clear of jaang(Dinka) domination. I wish all Nuer were aggressive thinkers. They are being strategically displaced but they are talking peace. I am not for that crap.

Remember people view you just like nothing, you better make some difference with your cattle keepers, using languages that puts the name of this country into a fan, useless, what is the difference between you and 0 (zero)
accept that you are out when peace is signed and gadet will take over that position because peter gadet is 100%better than you, a professional soldier whom all dinka fear
