May 02, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- South Sudan First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon delivered a powerful message of peace to the nation when he attended a Holy Mass in St Theresa Cathedral, a church he attends for the first time in 56 years when he was still a student in Juba one and Juba Commercial.

Presbyterian Machar, who was accompanied by his wife Madam Angelina Teny, took the stage amidst deafening cheers from the jubilant faithfuls in a well packed St Theresa Cathedral in Juba. The First Vice President points out that Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan was not quickly implemented since it was signed last year due to the fact that each principal to the agreement had its own difficulties.

“You have waited too long since the peace was signed in Addis and reconfirmed in Juba on August 26, 2015, it is over 8 months. Some thought this peace has failed because you cannot make peace and you cannot implement it for 8 months. But we had our difficulties. The former government had its own difficulties and we have our own difficulties,” Machar has explained.

First Vice President Machar confirms in his speech that peace has finally come to the nation but warns that it comes with many challenges, the chief among them is stabilizing the security nationwide. He challenges everyone to keep this peace as TGoNU alone cannot bring calm, saying keeping peace is a collective work and effort.

“The TGoNU will not keep this peace unless we all agree we keep peace among ourselves,” he emphasizes.

Dr. Machar appeals to the general public urging everyone to help Gen. Lado Gore in the Ministry of Interior to maintain security in Juba in every way; be it passing crucial information or acting positively because those who are known in Juba as “unknown gunmen” must be silent. He calls for a peaceful Juba. He points out that he accepted to be relieved as Vice President in July 2013 because he loves peace but he was violently pushed out of Juba on December 15, 2015. TGoNU formed three days ago made Machar the second powerful man in the nation.

The security stabilization need not to be sung like zero tolerance to corruption at this time mr.first vice-president but we do expect you to tell the people of South Sudan the strategic plans how to stabilize the security.
Remember, nowadays politicians are the causes of insecurity but work together and stop unnecessary blame games as president Salva Kiir Mayardit put it during the swearing in ceremony of ministers.
God bless the Republic of South Sudan!

Greater upper Nile

Dr. Machar is one of the most outstanding leaders in the 21th century, his concern regarding the security of the people of South Sudan is not new. He always warns the public about insecurity in South Sudan in general, and in Juba in particular, even before his return to Juba. But some politicians and others turn blind eyes to this alarming situation. They are denying the truth, you cannot deny your life and the life your own brothers and sisters. This security problem is not about politics, it is about human life, and remember, such issues more or less come back to us in our daily life and they cannot be ignored.

However, let us look at what our fellow brothers say about our problems in our country, even if we look at these people as our enemies, let us accept the truth. The challenges are before us, and not the speaker who talks these things alone.

He is the one in danger because of his wrong doing. That is it since he has started it.

He was Hijack by his own people until they force him to sign peace. I think that was the last Nuer’s rebellion.
