Machar confirmed president Uhuru’s pledge to support the restoration of peace and stability in South Sudan.

“I met with H.E Uhuru Kenyatta the President of the Republic of Kenya at the State House, yesterday Thursday evening. I briefed the President on the new developments in implementation of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development brokered peace agreement. H.E Uhuru Kenyatta assured me that As a neighbor and friend of South Sudan, we can count on his support in the restoration of peace in your country” Machar said.

Machar also reiterates the commitment of IGAD-Plus countries that he has visited in the past three weeks.

“l was received by H.E President Muhammadu Buhari the President of Nigeria yesterday 10th March at the state house in Abuja. H.E President Buhari stressed that he and other members of the African Union High-Level Consultative Committee on South Sudan will do their best to ensure that the peace agreement signed by the various political factions in the country is successfully implemented. He also assured me that Nigeria and the committee would work with all stakeholders to overcome problems hindering the implementation of the peace agreement”. Great news! First make sure your military hardware and necessary logistics with advance military personnel are transported to Juba before your landing there.

What! The Ethiopia is gona provide a logistical support of heavy military hardware for which motive. There’s no chance for a third coup attempts even if the Ethiopian government delivered its entire military hardware to SPLA-
IO.
Is that the motive of SPLM-IO demands for demilitarization of Juba?
Frankly speaking, what the Ethiopia has been doing behind the scene speaks by itself now.

Dr.Riek,we all expecting going to Juba in order to fulfill peace initiative you signed in 2015. But in all honesty the war is not over, you need to be extra cautious with Kiir’s unknown gunmen in South Sudan. South Sudan peace implementation is not supported by both parties.

Mr.President Kiir is not about by peace principles but he seem coerced by outside pressure that is why to me he become kind of snubbed . He’s reluctant to acknowledge condone the differences and give peace a chance so that animosity suppress in the country.
