March 23, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– South Sudanese Community-in-Exile are expected to hold a major press conference on March 24th, tomorrow, at the UN Headquarters in New York to pursued the world body and the international community to take serious actions against the leaders of South Sudan who have held the country in violence for more than two years.

According to human right activist, Simon Deng, the United Nations must thoroughly investigate Salva Kiir and his government for heinous crimes and atrocities committed against civilians in the world’s new state since 2013.

The demonstrators will converge at the UN headquarters at around 10:30Am to present their letter to UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon and partners in New York in attempt to convince them to take bold actions against their leaders back home.

The activist, Simon Deng and other South Sudanese-Americans, who went on hunger strikes for months between May and August 2015 at the White House, Washington, in attempt to get Obama administration to response to South Sudan conflict are now on the lead to rest this matter at the United Nations.

According to a document extended to Nyamilepedia by South Sudan Freedom Committee from New York, the attendees will call for a thorough investigation into the recent massacre of civilians inside a UN safe-haven at the city of Malakal, and will urge the world community to understand the antagonistic nature of President Kiir’s recent decision to create 28 new states in South Sudan, fundamentally changing the country.

In the words of Mr. Deng, “On February 20th, 2016, in New York, the UN Security Council, the European Union, and the “Troika” countries of the US, UK, and Norway, all condemned the killing of civilians inside a UN camp in Malakal. With so much evidence already on the atrocities that have been committed by the government of Salva Kiir Mayardit, as Commander-in-Chief of the soldiers who are carrying out the killing, I am appealing to the world community today that the time for condemnation has passed: the time for accountability is at hand. The renegade President of South Sudan must be held responsible for the crimes carried out in his name.”

South Sudan returned to a deadly civil war in December 2013 and despite many agreements signed between January 2014 and August 2015, the major parties to the conflict act as if no agreement was ever signed.

The government has unilaterally created unconstitutional 28 states and tries to implement them despite many challenges including economic collapse, hunger and fear of famine in all the states.

While many civilians from Salva Kiir’s home town and neighboring states in Bhar el Ghazal region are fleeing the hunger to another volatile region of Darfur and more civilians from Upper Nile region head northward to Khartoum to seek refugee. In Juba, it is all political games and blames on opponents for failures.

Yes please you so called international community and your allies plus Trioka,United kingdom,United States, must have to listen very attentively to those voices of South Sudanese. Those folks who were rallied in New York , they really feel the pain and anguish our people is too much. Kiir is still insisting in dehumanizing people both great and small, we all expect to ease their agony in stranded situations.

I mean we all expect you to do something and understand this peace implementation initiative seriously. According to my personal experience regarding South Sudan conditions since outbreak of South Sudan civil war in 2013 before it’s escalated. So many people had lost their lives in the war and I think peace is not enough ease the pain but it’s better than nothing. We want you to expunged Kiir who became prideful and took the country for granted

Mr.Chol Y, only small minded personal like you who have no shame for denying deaths of thousands of Nuer civilians by your Uncle Kiir because he is a Dinka but your uncle and most of his generals admitted the killings of Nuer civilians. Why are you denying the facts? Where are the good Dinka intellectuals who have feelings that South Sudan is a country for all the 64 tribes when we were fighting for it? I think that the feelings of nationalism is left only with John Garang family in Dinka communities ; the rest thought South Sudan is Dinka kingdom.

Khot,

People died everywhere in South Sudan as you said, unfortunately 2013 civil war is niether the first incident where ethnic tribes perish and 91 Bor incident was not the only incident. Gaajaak land was terrorized for more than a decate and the crimes against humanity perpetrated by tribal spla/m elements there were abhorrent.Chol is obviously prejudice on what tribal crimes & mass killings deserves justice and accountability.

I must make it clear to Chol that South Sudan will never be a one ethic tribal Kingdom and definitely will not be Kingdom of a coward tribe like Jaang who has no manpower capacity to fight their own wars and whose Media Rep is named Chol.

My comment goes to Chol ‘y and hardlinner from Sudan Tribune who vigorously denying the massacre of Nuer in Juba in December 2o13. To you guys, Chol ‘y and hardlinner can you go and have a look at AU report by very respected former Nigerian president Abasango. Do you know who revealed most detailes and evidences of Nuer massacre in Juba are dinkas themselves. You guys know very well the person that kiir wanted to use was Mac Paul from Inteligence, who later denied any coup plot staged by Dr. Riek and others. That denial of coup plot led to the release of those four detained by kiir due to the lack of evidences. Now, where is Mac Paul? He fled the country because kiir wanted to kill him. Can you also visit the videos in which Madam Nyandeng De Mabior interviewed starting from December 2013 onwards. She, Nyadeng and Dr. Aduk Nyaba were the first people who revealed the truth of Nuer massacre in Juba. Madam Nyadeng revealed that she knew the 34 bodyguards of Dr. Riek who who were killed in Dr. RIek’ s house by names. My last words to you my dears, you can deny anything from human beings, but not from God, Amighty Who says if you are my people you know the truth, and the truth will set you free. When you write please, write what you know, not what you do not know. I am Padiet Gahgah
