Sept 17, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Latest reports from South Sudan’s Greater Equatoria region indicate growing tension between the civil population and government troops in multiple areas in the three states of  Equatoria.

Multiple sources reiterate that tension between the troops and civil populations remains high in Maridi, Mundri, Jambo, Lui and Wunduruba payam.

According to SPLM/SPLA sources, Salva Kiir’s government has continued violating the ceasefire agreement that president Salva Kiir recently signed in Juba, South Sudan.

The armed opposition expresses concerns that the regime has attacked civilians in Wunduruba payam, and calls on Salva Kiir leadership to respect the agreement.

“We have been receiving disturbing reports of ongoing ceasefire violations by soldiers of Salva Kiir. They have continued to attack our bases in Wunduruba payam at Lainya county while at the same time targeting civilians in the area.” said James Gatdet Dak, the spokesman of SPLM/SPLA Chairman,

According to James Gatdet, many civilians have been killed and tens of thousands more are displaced by the government troops in Western Equatoria state.

“Soldiers of Salva Kiir on September 16 also went on rampage by attacking civilians in Mundri county of Western Equatoria state.” Gatdet said.

The Spokesman also confirms attacks on civilians in Jambo and Lui, reiterating that Salva Kiir troops looted civilians’ property and burned down their tukuls in Lui and Jambo payams.

“They attacked civilians in Jambo and Lui areas, looting property and burning houses to ashes. We condemn this barbaric act by the regime.” Gatdet said.

The opposition believes that Salva Kiir’s regime is trying to capture territories under their control to be declared during an upcoming workshop which is expected to convene generals from both sides.

“The plan is to claim control of these areas so that their military team could declare them as their areas of control at the workshop on security arrangements in Addis Ababa.” he said.

“This is what the regime has been attempting in Unity and Upper Nile states in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.” he continued.

The Opposition calls on IGAD to monitor and verify the violations and further urges the international community to “condemn the barbaric act by the Government”.

In other reports 176 people are confirmed dead at the scene in Maridi when an oil truck exploded as a crowd tried to gather fuel from the vehicle.

SPLA (Dinka) Soldier are good in fighting un armed Civilian but will call for foreign help when sons of that area responded. This is what they did to Nuer in Juba and call for UPDF for fight Nuer after respond. The good news is that UPDF agree to withdraw his troop because his wife NyanKiir Mayardit become ceremonial president who has nothing to do with implementation and Institutional reforms.

Those Of AGUMUt, Please in the name of our Nation, you condemn this act of barbaric by Dinka soldier to innocent Equatoria civilian.

Peace is coming, we are going to work very hard to make sure that FEDERALISM is put into place. elections are going to be held and we not a single equatorian is going to vote for jengelon. Let Our People not worry for the time is explaining and the deeds of the jengelon is telling us that Things will never be the same again.

We blame the fail government for the death of innocent villagers who are very poor because strident road cause the problem to any trucks even military trucks ,but the fail focusing on build up the war machine not roads this is the consequence of kleptocracy government who did worry about the death of civilian. People of south sudan need to protest against this kind of government and we let them in power like that more death will occur either by bullet or by things like fuel truck explosion or by nature disaster because there is no civil services who can cope with nature disaster and there will be no investigation.

Would the war continue even though the compromise peace agreement is signed between the warring parties? If that is the case, the president, saliva Kiir and his government to should tell the people of south Sudan and the the world they broke the agreement. Surely, the people of south Sudan should continue to liberate themselves from the bad regime and put the stop ongoing massacre and crime against the humanity by the regime through out the country. I know that the war has bad results and consequences, but there is no choice, the people must kick out the bad government in power.

To all times commentators of Nyamilepedia and Sudan Tribune. Particularly, those who have been plagued by their own guilt concoctions hasting on the defensive positions regarding the said gunman/or(SPLA. Officer – Jaang Terrorist) who fired a live around, the oil tanker, its victims, the condolences gesture extended by Dr Machar.

In every incident as such cooperation & transparency from the concerned citizens and individuals alike is required. As such, South Sudan has been for awhile now a tragic case of tragedies, this incident is also one of its greatest tragedit’s.

Put a side my earlier speculation, I do believe that without any preconceived bias, a thorough backtracking of events, all happenings & considering possible scenarios likely to have involved numerous players or individuals regarding the oil tanker/driver & the said SPLA officer.

The explosion incident, mass deaths necessitated a formal investigation not limited to those at the scene of the incident but perhaps licensed & legally operating company involved in such service delivery of dangerous goods and as well as their insurer if accountability means anything at all.

Serious charges will be handed down including criminal charges shout a competent credible lawyer with knowlegeble legal loop holes accept to run this case to the justice department and the court of law.

I would like to ask Dr. Luka for what he said ” what too place ( fight) in Equatoria will not stop peace process, that mean the agreement sign is between Dinka and Nuer. Therefore, that will lead into another way. how he thinks about the innocent people killed in Central equatoria and on top of it their properties were looted. Arab didn’t anything like this black Arabs were doing. At end it will lead for more division in the country.
Please Equatorians wake up, this Dinka and Nuer agreement.

to clearify the atmosphere, you Gatnor is so barbaric,u are well aware of it that Nuer are the most uncivilized community in South Sudan, for u are never educated and will still go to schools and will never..you always believe in assault as the remedy of everything if am wrong go back to the history, and the current situations, even the war was caused by your village life acts, unqualified nuer wants a higher office which he doesn’t even have knowledge and capabilities to run, a Nuer man from village recruits youth as his loyalists and wage a war against the government,if he’s convince with the allegiances since Salva is a peace loving man as well as all of other citizens, they turn to promote themselves into higher ranks of LT. GENs and Maj.GEns to get government positions.when they are assign to do the government official tasks, they failed miserably and later seek a rebel movement which as concocted to the current crisis. WE Dinka community as liberated you from your masters of slavery the Arabs, history can’t be told again but you vehemently know that Riek,Gaatdet,Matip, and all the other CARTOON politicians or war militias were all in Khartoum and we Dinkas and other south sudanese stood firm with John Garang and our elite sons of the soils to liberate South Sudan..Riek came in 2004 when he witnessed CPA progress . we are meant for this nation and we can’t let it go to hawkers like Riek machar.
