March 3, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The warring parties in South Sudan must seize the current and final round of negotiations to deliver a sustainable peace. We are well past the point where enough is enough. Leaders must put the interests of their people above their own. The violence must end. A negotiated conclusion to this conflict is required now.
Legitimacy is not a presumed right of any government. It is conferred by the people, and it is sustained only by demonstrating leadership to protect and serve all citizens—responsibilities the government has neglected. The opposition has likewise failed to choose peace or make the hard choices required of leaders. Both President Kiir and Riek Machar have promised time and again that they would negotiate a transitional government under the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) process, but have failed to make the compromises needed.
The world is watching to see what the leaders of South Sudan will do. IGAD has outlined the way forward to a transitional government and necessary reforms, but the two sides continue to obfuscate and delay. The parties have until March 5 to secure an agreement that is inclusive, that initiates a broad range of transitional reforms and that ensures those responsible for human rights abuses are held to account.
The United States will work with our international partners, including in the region, the UN Security Council, and beyond, to take further concerted action against those who do not demonstrate a willingness to make the difficult decisions needed for peace.
Leaders can choose to do the hard work of implementing peace—or they can all too easily drift back into the nightmare of war. The choice is clear, and for the sake of all the people of South Sudan, I urge them to choose peace.

It is high time now that all you South Sudanese opposition unite themselves to topple this rotten regime. Kerry is telling you all G-10, G-Huhuru, G-Detainees and G-Whatever to unite & abandon extreme jealousy, cooperate and deliver that final blow to the rotten warrap-borsouth-regime. War or Peace – choose One!
Choose Peace – Kerry has given you a hint! Embrace it and don’t go for a refugee life in Kenya.
I can tell that, Mr. Balang Tutute is dreaming has gone to the level of reaching too high about bringing the former vice president in to power, but wait a minute to tell this, you must acknowledge yourself before having acknowledge on others people. What is mean is to show that, you are sincerely, honesty, respectful, personality, your history, back-ground you can name it what will make the politician to become a good leader but I think the former vice president will not pass my test. You have misunderstand the US secretary of the States hon, John Kerry has said, the two leaders must puts the interest of their people above their own and he also said, the violence must end now. The US secretary of States did not mention anything about supporting civil war and it is you Mr. Balang you wanted to add gas to the fire.
I have been saying many times that, the people who are fueling this South Sudan’s conflict are Nuers out sider worldwide and not those who are seeking for peace in the refugees camps. My friend Balang, there is no benefit to gains in letting civil war to continuous for the next years but lose of innocents lives, more destruction of civilians properties and the suffering of the citizens in Young nation so why not supporting peace deal now? Please keep singing about bringing former vice president in to power but in reality, the former vice president Dr. Riek Machar Teny had lost his political career and there is no way of repairing back to lead South Sudan nation remember, the former vice president is not the only Nuer politician to hold PhD in Nuer Society thus, we have many intellectuals and the most are young sharps minds in the world not a gimmick of Old School of 1984 of Riek Machar Teny and I am assuming if the Young nation is ready to elected Nuer politician then, we have another Dr. Riak Gai Kok and many others Nuers educators people to get one from them.

In the case of South Sudan,nothing of the kind has happened. The Government has brutally abused the powers conferred to them by the people and even high jacked them,to serve their interests. The US . SECRETARY of state has defined how legitimacy should be preserved and protected. We have seen how corruption,insecurity,violations of the Constitution,lack of human rights, lack of free speech and you name it, are being practiced without fear. Are we a nation of doom or a civilized member of nations whose people deserve life,liberty and pursuit of happiness.
As it was stated above, so we all need to see the world doing something especially for the gov’t. that refuse to make power sharing with opposition and let it tell the world what would be the solution.
