March 25, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The Former President of South Sudan National Youth Union and the Chairman of Political Parties Youth Forum has declared his defection to SPLM/SPLA, under the leadership of South Sudan’s former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

In his declaration, Agel Ring Machar, calls on the youth to rise up to restore a country that he believes has been destroyed beyond repairs by incompetence leadership of President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

“I am, therefore appealing to the youth of South Sudan to rise up and shoulder their historical responsibility of saving this Country from total collapse. We have been divided on tribal and Regional lines for far too long. The social fabric of our society which form the basis of our future has been torn, our economy is in total ruin, our diplomatic ties have damaged almost beyond repair, our armed and security forces have been turned on its own people, our sovereignty has been compromised and the Country has lost vision and direction. “ Agel said.

Agel, a son of former Member of Parliament, Victoria Adhar Arop Chop, strongly emphasizes that the current status quo is unsustainable and therefore the youth must arise to quick-fix the nation through revolution.

“The status-quo is unsustainable and the Current leadership in the Country is too deformed to be reformed and therefore there is an urgent and pressing need of a

total revolutionary overhaul of the system. This responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of the youth of South Sudan. “ Agel said.

The youth leader has opted to join the Opposition stressing that the SPLM/SPLA [IO] is the only catalyst available in the country to bring change to the people of South Sudan.

“It is my strong belief that the SPLM-IO under the able leadership of Dr. Riek Machar provides the best alternative and the best tool for which we can fix the ills of our Country.”

Agel persuades the South Sudanese to join hands with Dr. Machar to implement federalism, 21 states and other reforms to bring services to people at the grassroots compared to Salva Kiir’s centralized systems that have failed to deliver any services as hoped by millions of South Sudanese.

“At least Dr. Riek Machar has a vision for the future of the Country, whether you agree with that vision or not. From the democratic reform within the SPLM and the Country at large to Federalism and creation of more States to bring services closer to the long suffering people or the badly needed reforms in economic, public service and security sectors.” Agel reiterates.

“So I urge you the youth of South Sudan from all the ten States and 64 tribes to reject this fail Government and join me in exerting our collective efforts behind the SPLM-IO and Dr, Riek Machar Teny so that we give our Country a chance of survival.” Agel concludes his declaration in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Agel, who is a native of Warrap State, returned from Australia where he did his studies to contribute in nation building with overwhelming support of the current President, Salva Kiir Mayardit, however, to his disappointment the autsralian citizen was forced to go frontline to fight for what he believes is a second liberation of the country.

Agel was lately seen posting in military uniforms, however, it is yet to be confirmed if he will pick up an assignment to the frontline in the near future.

Agel Machar, If you were calling Youths to vote out current president Salva Kiir Mayardit I would agree with you unfortunately, now you are calling Southern Sudanese Youths to takes guns which mean you are supporting killing to continues. I hated war because I had been wounded during the 21st SPLA /SPLM Civil war in the Sudan and I do not support another civil war in South Sudan even though I don’t like Salva Kiir Mayardit thus, I have to support the Independence’s constitutional of the land South Sudan. You seem to be part of Old Gogrial which had been driving us in to mess with former vice president from Leer county/Leer communities why running away from Salva Kiir when most of you don’t listen when told?

Please keep singing about hoping to rejoin rebellion as a way of complaining but we have seen you guys making alluding policy at the time when the Warrap State’s capital was illegal transfer to Kuacjok and it is clearly inner to Western Bahr el Ghazal State and it was done by Gogrialism generals who are now controlling government. The Southern Sudanese people will deal with this conflict until it end however, these two men which are current president Salva Kiir Mayardit and his former vice president Dr. Riek Machar Teny must be put in jail time for life together if it is my view because their greed for leadership is now killing Southern Sudanese innocents citizens who are not aware about politics..

Magol, which voting do you mean? A parliament extended his term for 3 yrs then where do you expect his voting to take place if South Sudan election did not take place because of war?
