April 15, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– South Sudan’s army Chief of General Staff, Paul Malong Awan, has withdrawn his remarks against Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the incoming First Vice President and offered 15 bulls in kind to the armed opposition who arrived recently in the capital, Juba.

The Chief of Staff for SPLA-IG also offered one truck to SPLA-IO for domestic use.

Denying the allegations, believed to have been made during a recent recruitment campaign in his hometown in Norther Bhar el Ghazal, Malong accused the online Sudan Tribune of having created the story to collide the warring parties.

The former governor of Norther Bhar el ghazal attest that he is not against Dr. Riek Machar to become a president of South Sudan, a statement that has fueled numerous condemnations from many fair minded South Sudanese nationals.

Gen. Malong further stress that he wants peace in South Sudan and calls on the opposition to prepare for peace.

The general also denied the issues of cantonments sites for the opposition in Equatoria and Bhar el Ghazal, saying that he is not against cantonment proposals.

According to credible sources, Malong has directly ordered the recent attacks in Wau, where many youth were arrested and at least two brothers killed in what NGOs see as an intimidation exercise to scare off supporters of SPLM/SPLA-IO.

Gen. Malong was accompanied by senior officials of SPLM/SPLA in opposition including Gen. Koang Chuol Ranley of SPLM/SPLA-IO.

In other reports, President Salva Kiir has traveled to Arusha, Tanzania, to sign an agreement for South Sudan to join East African Community!

Dear Nhial Puok,
Let the doubting Thomas take it right from King Paul Malong that he is not against the implementation of the ARCISS as widely spreaded by your anti-peace elements of SPLA-IO.
P’lse tell Dr. Riek Machar to report back to Juba as required by the Addis Ababa Peace Agreement (AAPA II).

Dream on Akot, it’s either the agreement is implemented in its entirety as scribed or will not make it to you slaughter shithole called Juba. And ofcourse you should be aware of what is coming should Juba Faction continue to frustrate implementation of the signed agreement.

I didn’t care about his offerings of either 15 dogs or bulls, he has plot conspiracy against my GaaJaak people by bribery Murlee mix with Anyuak and Nuer money lovers. He has massacre again Nuer in Eastern Sudan border with Ethiopia. Therefore, Malong is less than a dog or vulture, he become a real monkey brain. He like scavenger who depend on dead animals, he depend on squandering human lives to earn his/her living allowance. God will rebuke him when he spilled innocent blood like the children I have heard were kidnapping by Murlee. Those dumb tribe of Murlee are backwards who lives by raided cattle from Nuer.I prays God will give Nuer strength to pursue and retaliate them very the same thing.

Bol, I think Gaajaak must have a strategy to deal with the challenges. gaajaaks too should question the Oppositions seriousness and commitment in dealing with Juba as Oppositions stay in Gaajaak land comes with more disadvantages ranging from scarcity of resources, unacceptable increase of population, security concerns on both borders not addressed ettiquetlly by Oppositions nor the Gambella leadership. Gaajaaks in short must rise to the challenge of dealing with threatening issues pertaining to their security on both sides of the borders. An armed volunteers need to be stationery on sensitive entry and exit points to and from Gaajaaks lands to detect any encroaching unfriendly Jur this is because the Oppositions government in the liberated areas and the Ethiopian government both has not cooperatively paid attention to the serious implication of neglecting or compromising the safety of the over all geographical disposition of Gaajaaks territory which should be of a top priority for the both.

General Paul Malong didn’t say he would disallow Riek Machar to become a president in the first place. He said he didn’t uttered that statement and frankly pointed out the source of the false news(sudantribune).

In the third line of the lead paragraph of the news story above, it is an unnecessary the author of this article wrote that general Malong has “withdrawn” his remarks against Riek Machar. Saying -withdrawn- suggests general Malong did in fact said he would prevent Machar from becoming a president but there isn’t any evidebce he did so. A rescinded remark is not synonymous with a denied remark.

A withdrawn statement carries connotations of being forced into a submission of taking back what one said because circumstances or those with powers compelled one to rescind the statement due to the inappropriateness of the remark and if one failed to comply, he or she will get some punishments. A withdrawn remark usually comes with an attached apology to it as prerequisite. Without an apology attached to the withdrawn remark, it means nothing.

A denied remark, whereas, means saying such a comment wasn’t made and therefore, it isn’t true. It doesn’t need to come with an apology whatsoever. No one should insist the person shouldn’t deny what is denied, unless of course there is a concrete evidence presentable to a denier that proves he or she is wrong.

In this case, there is no evidence that general Malong has ever said Machar would never ever become a president in his presence.

Tolio, primitive and uneducated muscle head like Malong has no standard authority over Dr.Machar for the simple fact that Malong is in a lower ranks and files of hierarchy below VP Machar. And it will be so forever. Now Malong like a little Chihuahua has to ridiculously apologized with 15 sick and malnourished looking bulls to his Nuer boss Man(Dr. Machar that is.) if I was Machar I would not accept no lesser apology than to make idiot Malong salute that South Sudan flag in front of me every day for a month until he understand what it means to not abuse his powers(ranks)

Of course I had predicted that all those who hate peace will give in and soon will be losers or end up in the hague. The Juba massacre will not let them walk free………………………..So the 15 bulls will not clear them from this genocide.

Natuggo, if peace comes and it’s followed with calls for accountability and the Hague is involved what is it that is making you geniuses of South sudan think that Juba’s notorious human right abusers, warlords like Malong, entrenched thugs like the JCE and a war criminal like Kiir didn’t see peace as a gateway to ICC? If peace font prevail as a fool would hope it does; what is your back up plan…war? But I thought you signed peace for the vp position and the fact that Machar is no longer effective in commanding battles and fight his way to Juba. Do you think the vp position will be waiting for him once he is chased out of Juba again? Why don’t you give me a few convincing pointers of what you think make this peace real. Ofcourse you can’t because it’s not real.
