August 28, 2015 (Nyamilepedia) – Anger is growing within South Sudanese government officials in Juba after Michael Makuei stood up and walked out on President Salva Kiir while the President was seated and signing the IGAD Compromise peace agreement on the 26th of August this month in Juba.

According to eyewitnesses the controversial minister of information walked out of the signing ceremony for the IGAD peace agreement and went straight home in protest to Salva Kiir’s signing of the peace agreement.

Senior officials within the presidency are now calling for Michael Makuei to be fired for allegedly disrespecting the president, saying most of their colleagues were astonished to see Makuei walking out while the President was seating and signing the peace agreement.

A senior official in the Presidential who gave his name only as Akot says Makuei has to be dropped for crossing the “redline” and not giving Salva Kiir the respect he deserves for signing peace.

“it is a total disrespect to our president, he (Makuei) should have waits for President to finish, but not gets up while president still is signing the documents, our President fought for this country more than those who walk out” the angry senior official Akot told the reporter.

Officials say the information minister has broken all protocols by standing up and walking out while the President is seated and while an important event was taking place and being graced by his excellency the president.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Michael Makuei Lueth, walked out from Freedom Hall during the peace signing ceremony at the Freedom hall in Juba.

Michael was seen walking out of the ceremony hall looking unhappy, when approached by the protocol team and asked to wait until the President finishes the signing. It’s alleged that the minister gave the protocol team an angry looked and replied.

“I don’t give a damn, let him surrender alone” said a angry Michael Makuei referring to President Kiir’s signing of the peace deal.

Another Member of Parliament from Warrap State said Michael Makuei’s action was out of character, regardless of his feelings. He said the President took the action to sign peace to save the country from the current abyss.

“The President one who brings him in, he can take him out too,”, said a shocked looking MP from Warrap.

“His behavior was absolutely not acceptable, he needs self control at such important occasions, I call our President to relieve him from duties for disrespect to his excellency the president”, Added the MP from Warrap.

Meanwhile Ministers and senior officials from Greater Upper Nile have called on Michael Makuei to make a public apology to the President.

“People need to know that the President, he value the life of the people and he love the country, that is why he sign the peace, is not for individual benefits” said one Cabinet minister

Michael Makuei has today changed his tone and replied to his critics saying he is not against peace, he supports the “bold and brave” move taken by President Salva Kiir to sign the peace, adding that “the devil is in the details” of this agreement.

“we are all behind the President with this peace agreement for sake of the peace, so he ..Mukuei.. must apologise to our President, or he have to drop him” said a senior official from Upper Nile, who said he represents Renk County.

Lastly, the worst thing comes to the King who used to roar like a female lion. Makuei should realize now that politics is not a permanent thing. Politicians are not made on stone. Something Makuei did not know. Please Makuei go back to your kraal and wait for ICC. There is no more hiding haven in South Sudan. You have been roaring like a female lion that has been on the heat. When families and their children have been displaced by your government, you blamed everything on the rebels. The time has come for you to feel the pain that you cause many families and their children to undergo through while you were roaring like a female lion.

Makuei walked out while the President sign an agreement because he knew that his time has come to the end. He did not even respect the very man he has been defending. Makuei does not respect humanity. When the President signed an agreement so that the fimalies and their children who are suffering in refugees camp or inside UNs’s camp in South Sudan but Makuei does not care. He walked out while his master sign an agreement. The International communities are given pressure to the President to end the suffering while Makuei walked out. Shame on you! Makuei wait for your suffering too.

English saying says “Politic is a dirty game”, and this is very true in this case. Makuei was very naive & arrogant to say the least, he behaved himself like Warrap’s Prince in his current portfolio as South Sudan’s Information Minister forgetting that he is just an ordinary citizen like everyone else. He created himself so many enemies as a result, there is no doubt about that, but disappointing though that the very crooks who used him for their own interests are now turning against him apparently for unconfirmed disrespectfully act to the King!

Michael Makuei Lueth, as his last name suggests is an embarrassment to ROSS. His countenance alone does not depict the lawyer and government mouthpiece that he is supposed to be!

All along the world has been lambasting Kiir for his lacklustre approach to the peace talks but little did the world know that the man behind the show is non other than Makuei with field support from Malong.

The duo should stand trial for fighting against humanity!

Kiir’s current cabinet is gonna be dissolved; that Makuei knows very well. He would not spring back as he’s likely to become a spoiler during implementation of the signed peace. There other people on the other side of the political divide and among the international community who would go for his head!

Now time has come for him to apologize to opposition leader Dr Riek Macher, and to beg him (Dr Riek) for Commissioner-ship position or otherwise to commit suicide, as live is gonna be hard for him.

Salva Kiir is so stupid too, how does he put someone who doesn’t want peace in such a position and we expect peace in South Sudan, now he has won’t South Sudan lost peace and I guess he is now happy to continue stealing country money as others are starving to death his children are well of, but one day they will all pay for it beginning with The President, his cabinet and the rebels
