in this transitional government if you can’t guarantee us justice, we can’t let you have a peace
my tears hasn’t dry since the dark days in juba.it seems like people are forgetting about how it happened and not thinking how we gonna end this, before it touch the next generation.
peace make by politicians agreements is not a real peace and will end up like those peace that had took place when Sudan was one, remember..! peace can be impose by many different ways yet it wouldn’t satisfied ordinary people. according to my understanding of peace and justice, peace is nonviolent, unity, harmony, a state of security and mutual concord and other hand justice is reconciliations for all lack oppression, impartial and fair dealing rights
the premise is that the different interpretations of these concepts shape the different views about the connections between them. For those who see the value of digging deeper will find true justice. I believe if we are to seek peace we have to find justice first.
As the a cliché goes I want to talk about justice. peace has been the mantra of the South Sudan. In the past three years…..we even tried to called ourselves one nation but nothing had changed, still being Nuer was crime…! one nation the language of peace, became secret weapon, then one nation fall apart because the idea of peace is an empty one and it isn’t the solution to the conflict we find ourselves embroiled in. yesterday our people were enemies, but today we have fake smiles. ….As one nation. peace turns everything into a business, you give me the( Nakba) and I’ll give you wailing walls. The Knights of peace were never too interested in the victims of the conflict. what the victims need most is justices . we are the victims and we only need justice and that is were my tears I’ll dry and I will be happy. Our president dragged our country to zero. kir has killed 20,000+ in just length of 3 days, we don’t need justice,?. is kir willing to recognize what he did?. did he recognize what his army had subjugated innocent people?. is he willing to pay reparations for thousands souls?.
There are perhaps historical for the conflict, but it has been fueled by human greed and selfishness. There is virtually no one in South Sudan with out a friend, brother or colleagues or distant acquaintance of sort was killed or injured in this war. There is no one from Nuer in particular hasn’t feared life, even those of Nuer wew, had runs to unmiss then ,in fortunate money took their hearts and souls then later returned back and feeds on their brothers flash who were left unburried.
In order to achieve peace first we must achieve justice the we in now is not a peace real peace. The following immediate steps must be taken. settlement lands must be returned to their owners. reconciliation councils got works after apartheid ended in South Sudan ……viva Machar…..viva SS
