SEVEN ( 7 ) YEARS’ ARTICLES CAUTIONING THE GOVERNMENT IN VAIN.

WAS THE 15 DECEMBER 2013 JUBA MASSACRE CAPITAL CITY ON NUER TRIBE THE ANSWER?

IF DESTRUCTION HAS NOW COVERED THE WHOLE NATION, THEN WHAT RECOMMENDATIONS SHALL RESTORE CONFIDENCE AMONG PEOPLE OF SOUTH SUDAN?

May 18, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — This is a reminder and summary of my seven (7) years articles authored as one of southern Sudanese elders from Nuer tribe cautioning the government of South Sudan. I solemnly devoted all my consciousness with desire for the up-keep of the new born black child the South Sudan to be taken care of. The reasons why I chose such a duty to be like a candidate sitting final exams were from God Himself. He rested them firmly on me without desperation. But did the government and the power concerned make notice or the 15th of December Juba massacre on the Nuer tribe was the answer? Who knows why I concentrated my seven years articles in one news paper the CITIZEN than the JUBA MONITOR, yet JUBA MONITOR news paper is more popular and has a history of supporting the movement? Who knows why the seven years were full of praise, encouragement and blessing about President Kiir himself from Dinka tribe to make him shine in every article of these seven years? Why all these articles never contained any praise or gave commendation, eulogy or tribute to DR. Riek Mchar Teny, the former Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan who is a Nuer from Bentiu town in the rich Oil state of Unity State? Don’t you think he deserved such praise, yet the author I of all these articles is of the same origin? He was not praised nor commended not because he was not capable or qualified in leadership, but for reasons as shall be dealt with fully later. In Nuer traditional culture we believe in power sharing as we live in communities.

This paper is divided into three parts. Part one contains the summary of advice from only a few articles cautioning the leadership in the government of President Salva Kiir and the people of South Sudan especially the intellectual who are the source of political rivaling. Indirectly, all these articles were directed to the other side of the tribe whose son is the president. They aimed at the country leadership throughout to be alert of any slight misconduct that shall harm the unity of the South and the entire population of the six states. Part two contains the analysis of the probable reasons as why the advice was not adhered to culminating into the 15th December 2013 Juba massacre, and the steps taken implementing the alleged coup. Thirdly is the proposal and recommendations for peace settlement.(….)
