How Parasitic Politicians in Juba Look at Salva Kiir as Their little god!

May 30, 2015(Nyamilepedia)—ALL political lives, unless they are cut off mid-stream at happy juncture, always end in failure because that is the nature of politics and of human affairs.

These are the words of Enoch Powell, the late British politician. I cannot agree with him more for if we look at South Sudan, we see how the reputation of Gen. Salva Kiir who have held onto power continues to diminish the longer they hold on.

None of us should therefore seek a long political life, but a brief history of making a difference and being a part of creating a Federal Republic of South Sudan that is based on the attainment of the common good.
Unnecessarily prolonged political lives always end up in failure and self-pity as we shall see with President Salva Kiir, that no amount of political power, reverence or material wealth can ever fulfill our deepest desires.

God has put us on this earth not for our own aggrandizement or to cause the suffering of others, but to be of benefit and service to others so that they too can live up to their full potential. If only we would acknowledge this, then we would breed good leaders for the future of our country.

The politics of contestation and intrigue add value to no man’s life. Although it may seem attractive and even great, in the end politics never really brings out the best in us, but at most times actually brings out the worst in us.

I am truly disappointed that Kiir Kuethpiny has fallen into this trap – the trap of craving political power and holding on even at the likelihood that at the end of it all, his legacy shall only be remembered for its failures and the suffering and pain that it has brought. It is sad.

It is indeed time for change in leadership in South Sudan and there should be no argument against that. In fact, I suspect it has already happened. Our country cannot change to what we want it to be as long as the current leadership stays in power.

I therefore fully support the proposed idea of a grand coalition of democratic change so that we may once and for all usher in a new leadership.

However, the sole objective of such a coalition must be the creation and establishment democratic processes and institutions beyond our lifetime.

This coalition must not seek the promotion of one man’s ideas or power lest we breed a dictator once more. It must not rush to elections until we have built the institutions and capacity to conduct credible free and fair elections that will truly reflect our will.

Beyond the Mayardit era we have a unique opportunity to change course and create inclusive political and economic institutions that can help us become a developmental State. We must all work towards that.

We need to shun party politics and the idea that our political parties are the only platforms which we can use for social change. My respect for politics continues to diminish each day as I realize it is really power and position and nothing else.

Instead we must all now work to shape our own compelling vision of the South Sudan we want. A vision that is inclusive and significantly different from the South Sudan we know.

South Sudan belongs to all of us regardless of tribes or struggle history and that is where we need to start. If that is the case, it therefore means that it is our responsibility as citizens to create the social conditions we desire.

Our biggest mistake has been to leave the responsibility of transforming South Sudan’s economy to SPLM-Juba Faction. We have abrogated our responsibilities and left our fate in the hands of political men and women who have no idea or capacity to create the South Sudan we want.

As I watch the political intrigue from all fronts, the lack of vision, downright greed and the pursuit of personal ambition above all, I have realized that if we continue hoping and complaining from the sidelines, we will achieve nothing.

If we continue to be disengaged, those in power will merely do what they know best — lie, cheat and dominate us for a long time to come.

It is with this in mind that I am promoting the concept of South Sudan First. We must create a new paradigm of social and economic development where we put country first. This must be a non-political effort that seeks to change our value systems as a society and our priorities too.

We must now start an economic struggle. That struggle is all ours, but we must rid ourselves of the thieves and the corrupt amongst us. This does not only apply to the public sector, but even in the private sector where the pursuit of money has ruined our society. We cannot build a sustainable society based on inequality and exploitation.

We must now create the age of social entrepreneurs in South Sudan where our pursuit is not merely profit, but profits with development and empowerment of our citizens.

Politics is not the appropriate tool for our development because there is just too much unnecessary contestation and too much hunger for position and power without appreciating the responsibility that comes with it.

Our politicians and our institutions are not equipped for developmental economics and we can change governments all we want, but ultimately if this generation is disengaged or disinterested, we will keep getting disappointed.

If we all decide to put South Sudan first and do whatever we can to now take the responsibility for creating a better society and more equitable economy, we shall be surprised at what we can achieve.

The problems that have been created for us by SPLM over the last 10 years can never be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

Dirty politics, tribalism, divisions, greed and selfishness will never create the South Sudan we want.

I have spoken my words and may gods of the land hear my voice…….

Please note:

RIEK Machar EBOLA Is the number one ENEMY of Nuer people and Riek Machar Ebola is the Weapon of Mass Destruction against the Lou, Gawaar and Jikany Nuer sections.

Riek Machar Ebola is the number one ENEMY of South Sudan and it’s peoples.

Riek Machar Ebola is the little God of the most Nuer people. RIEK MACHAR EBOLA tried to build the fake Nuer Kingdom but failed terribly in 3 times: 1991, 2005, and 2013.

I speak my words and may the God be with the people of South Sudan… Amen
Thank you

Abuchook, I really find it extremely weird and contradictory when you speak your mind out of emotions.
I had learn it at a very tender age that emotions can doom a man’s wisdom and flatter him into an inevitable failure. I therefore, urges you to reconsider your integrity and learn to cultivates the epic of transparency and genuine use of argument. The problem lie in the fact that, you had closed your mind on realities and blindly dwell on single source of information, a believe which will never see South Sudan through, no matter how much we day dream of ever having a stable nation on the faces of the earth.
Please, based your argument on fact.
It”s my deepest regret to write on your comment for I don’t like discussions based on ethnic allegiances. However, I scrolled out of my shield and principles hoping to shed light of truth on a fellow countryman. .

To John,

Please remember that since 2005 to 2013, if Riek Machar Ebola never used the PROXY WAR for and against the Nuer people specially the primitive thinkers young Lou Nuer people; there will be many lives save today.

To be honest Riek used most Lou, Gawaar and Jikany Nuer sections as his tools for Mass destruction and to make his political science will toward Power.

John remember that, Riek is responsible and accountable for the killing of our South Sudanese people: From 1991 to 1997, and 2005 to 2015,.

Riek Machar is an epidemic source of proxy Ebola: he has tribal mind-sets Ideology and Influence specially for the Lou, Gawaar and Jikany Nuer sections.

Riek Machar Ebola rebellion failed terribly many times and specially he killed many Nuer people than any other South Sudan leaders dead or alive.

I speak my words out and May the God be with the people of South Sudan.
Amen amen
Thank you very much

He has already denied himself us a Nuer person. we cannot worry about where he can run next. We are worry to get rid of him and the Uganda government who is killing us now because we defeat them. we also need to do something about our generosity to foreigners our leadership post. Their hiding make our community disaster when we hiring them.

Abucook is one of those who grew up in the hands of their mother. They don’t know their background biologically and lacking their fathers’ advices, that is why they always talks like that!

Siri,
This is the first time you have written something that has national character and I thank you for getting sober at last. South Sudan is for all of us. There will never be a tribal country for one tribe. Also, if you want to make change, do so within and that is important and true. I also agree that reform in South Sudan doesnot need the barrel of the gun. The more you fight, the more tribal it gets. But when you make change thru democratic process, you will get support from all tribes. That is the boat our friend has been missing all his life. Anyways, kudos for your sober article!
