Oct 20th, 2014 (Nyamilepedia) — The fighting, which erupted in the capital Juba, on 15 December last year, saw a massacre of Nuer men, women and children in the city within less than 24 hours. The killings drove many Nuer to take up arms to encounter the tragedy and others in support of Dr. Machar.  Tens of thousands others took refuge in UN bases across the country, where many remain in the United Mission in South Sudan (UNIMISS) compounds up to date.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has the jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the International Crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. So far twenty eight (28) individuals have been indicted in the ICC, including Joseph Konyi of Uganda, Omar Al-Bashir, President of Sudan, Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya President, late Muammar Gaddafi former President of Libya, Laurent Gbagbo of Ivory Coast and subsequently, the current warlord President of South Sudan, President Kiir Mayardit, who will be charged by the Criminal Court soon or later.

In a report on the atrocities carried out in the world’s youngest country since President Salva Kiir accused his former vice-president, Riek Machar, of plotting a coup last December, the group catalogs crimes ranging from the ethnically motivated murder of civilians to gang rapes and the mass destruction and looting of civilian property. Such acts, have defined the conflict, which is estimated to have killed tens of thousands of people, driven one point five (1.5) million South Sudanese from their homes and left almost five (5) million in dire need of humanitarian assistance.

We are all aware that, the combination of cabinets of Mayardit comprises of killers and primitives, who do not need to be compared with others under the ICC protocols. The massacre, rape and torturing that have been going on since last year 2013 is enough justification for indictment charges against the perpetrators. According to my own view “Since signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in 2005, the combination of South Sudanese Leaders in the government is consists of extractive leaders, political sycophants’ whose their aims is to destroy the dignity of South Sudanese and invest in foreign Countries for exit” the resources from oil revenues and donations from International Community is diverted to private accounts by vultures who are the enemies of the civil population of South Sudan.

The killings that took away thousands of lives in Juba in December 2013 need proper documentation and analytical action to be taken against the group of individuals who ordered for the massacre of the Nuer Civilians in Juba. Some families have no people as we talks, good number of families were slaughtered including, children, women, young men and ladies who have got nothing to do with politics. However, we all know that human beings are God creatures; anyone who wishes to eliminate certain group of people is looking for a death that will be worse than the death of Gadafi of Libya, and Salva Kiir is in, whether he like it or not.

It will not be surprising to see someone from Republic of South Sudan being indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The well coordinated killings that took place in Juba where each part of the city is having mass graves will take good number of senior members of South Sudan government to the International Criminal Court, whether people like it or not. Facts must be told, dear Country men and ladies, unless (ICC) is headed by one of the dictators in Africa continent. And if the head of International Criminal Court is someone who act within the ICC mandates and protocols then sooner or later the current Minister of Information and Broadcasting Michael Makuei Lueth, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Marial Benjamin, the Chief of Staff Malong Awan, the one who trained and commanded Gelweng, the government militia from Awiel who were brought purposely to eliminate the Nuer in Juba, the Commander of the Republican Guards, Marial Chanuong, the Former Legal Advisor to the President, Telar Ring Deng and President Kiir himself will all be persecuted for committing crimes against humanity and killings of one community due to what is not clear to the people of South Sudan up to now.

Nuer Community cannot be killed in Juba because of Dr Riek Machar political ambition to contest for presidency and to reform the country. Riek has the right to contest for any position of his wishes in South Sudan as the constitution of the country entails. Most of the people who were killed were not necessarily supporting Dr Machar’s political interests. No one in the Republic of South Sudan should still advocate for Kiir Mayardit to remain in such bloody leadership accepts political sycophants who do not think of the prosperity of the Country, who deny the facts that president Kiir is the first person to be tried for the war crimes again humanity.

What is the different between what happened in Rwanda in 1994, Darfur in 2003 and South Sudan in 2013? There is no different, one tribe has been killed in thousands during Rwanda genocide just as it is being done in the Republic of South Sudan where Nuer tribe is being buried in mass graves by the tribal leadership of Kiir Mayardiit. Realistically, what kind of government in the whole world would loot people wealth like the government of South Sudan that is paralyze by corruption, nepotism, tribalism but still kill one tribe based on its ethnicity?
