Feb 14, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —– Mr. Dominic Okello, the governor of Wau State in Opposition and the state chairman of SPLM-IO, appoints Mr. Julio Valerio Osman Julio as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting of “Wau liberated areas” with effect from the date of his signature.
According to an appointment letter extended to Nyamilepedia, Mr. Julio was appointed 4 days ago and he is currently the Minister of Information in Opposition in that state.
“I, Mr. Dominic Ukelo, the Governor of Wau State in Opposition and the chairman of SPLM-IO in the state, after consultation with stakeholders, do hereby appoint Mr. Julio Valerio Osman Julio as the Minister of Information with effect from 10.02.2017” reads part of the statement.
Due to conflict, parts of Wau state falls under the control of SPLM in Opposition and attempts by SPLA in government to capture those areas have been frustrated by the rebels.
Mr. Dominic, the new governor in Opposition, is expected to more ministers to various positions as deemed necessary by the stakeholders.
