The Nuer Community in the United States of America held an emergency meeting on July 30, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska to discuss the current worsening situation in South Sudan. The Generally Assembly:
Unanimously agreed to condemn in the strongest term possible, the attempted assassination of First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar on July 8, 2016 by General Taban Deng Gai and President General Salva Kiir Mayardit. The general meeting also denounced the illegal appointment of General Taban Deng Gai to replace the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny to intentionally abrogate the “Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (ARCSS).
The meeting also has called for the entire Nuer Community Worldwide to stand firmly and to be committed in full support of the SPLA-IO Chairman Dr. Riek who relentlessly stands tall against the Nuer genocide of 2013 in Juba, which was committed by the permanent enemy of Nuer Community the tribal leader of Jieng (Dinka) Council of Elders, president Salva Kirr Mayardit.
The discussion convinced everyone in the meeting that the cursed sons of the Nuer Community, General Taban Deng Gai and Mr. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, be sentenced to death in their absentia for being traitors and betrayals of the massacre, resulting in thousands of women, old and young men, burned born infants and unborn fetus removed from mothers’ wombs to die. Therefore, the Nuer Community in North America is here to inform the four sections of Nuer community; in Unity State Bentiu, Lou Nuer in Jonglei, Jikany in Upper Nile and Pangak, that your two sons have declared war against the entire Nuer community for the sack of food given to them by president Salva Kiir Mayardit. For this reason, our community must take a severe immediate action to hold them accountable for the killing of 37 Nuer young boys in J1 and many more in Jebel Kujur in Juba.
The General assembly also agreed and acknowledged that the Nuer Community must be united back home and in Diaspora against General Taban Deng Gai, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, and their followers who are hunting for their stomachs instead of defending the cause of the Nuer genocide.
In addition, the Nuer general assembly has called for a massive demonstration against Taban Deng Gai in all the states in America including New York in September 2016. Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit has nominated Taban Deng Gai to address the UN General Assembly in denial of the Nuer genocide.
In conclusion, the Nuer Community emergency meeting has condemned an attempted assassination of Dr. Riek Machar and an illegal appointment of the traitor Taban Deng Gai as First Vice President to destroy the South Sudan Peace Agreement. As of the general consensus, the community disowns Taban Deng Gai and Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, however, stands firmly united behind the peace lover Dr. Riek Machar Teny until the end of the civil war.
