Feb 11, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —— We, the SPLM-IO Youth League, have lost confidence in the ability of the former President of Botswana H.E. Festus Mogae the current Chairman of Joint Monitoring and evaluation commission (JMEC).

H.E, President Mogae has indicated failure to continue carrying out his duties on safeguarding the so call CPA 2 and the marginalized citizens of the South Sudan against oppressors, due to an apparent conflict of interest and his inability to abide by ACRISS signed by the two conflicting parties we demands him to abdicate.

Mogae proved to be siding with oppressors and this has been demonstrated in his recent activities against SPLM-IO, him (Fetus Mogea) acting mute and the giving of deaf ears to the suffering of the people of south Sudan.

President Festus seems to have personal interest and this has been manifested in his  agenda to be a praise singer and a campaign manager to President Salva Kiir.

His disdain and disrespect for our civil populations who are being murdered and displaced from their homes in his watch is unacceptable and also an insult to the widows and orphans living in United Nation Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

The present of President Mogae in Juba  as a watch Dog to the ACRISS is meaningless and unacceptable; his inability to accept the truth about the abrogation of peace by Salva Kiir and Taban Deng Gai has displayed his clear egos to be benefiting from the suffering of South Sudanese.

Moreover, his failure to halt the draconian system from raping women and teenagers in Juba Check points are enough evidences for him to collect his belongings and leave South Sudan for Botswana.

The denial of the facts by JMEC is the reason why Salva Kiir Administration insist on the killing agenda, the kidnapping scenarios and the subjection of  millions to displacement.

His refusal to accept the collapsed of the agreement signed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by the two leaders Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon PhD first and Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit reluctantly later is unprecedented, disrespectful, and outrageous.

For these reasons, we SPLM IO Youth League feels that H.E Festus Mogae should voluntary and peacefully summit his resignation letter to the International bodies, UN, IGADs and AU leaders Because He is either unable or unwilling to carry out his sworn duties and should step down as soon as possible.

Signed by:

Cde. Sirir Gabriel Yiei Ruot,

SPLM-IO National Youth League Spokesman.

Thank you SPLM-IO Youth League for airing out such points to why there is a quick need of the former president of Botswana H.E Festus Mogae to resign from his post for being so reluctant on carrying out his duties with transparency. He should definitely resign if he had used South Sudan as a means of income to him, regardless of consideration to the current crisis that cost the death of millions of civilians and displacement of thousands of people and the current fleeing of thousands of the South Sudanese to the neighbouring countries and those of seek refuge at the various UN camps around the country.
The international organizations as well as the civil societies should take an actions towards him and force him to resign for being bias towards the duties he is assigned to.

Thanks

Nuer got interest in government and money only. Why Nuer put themselves in the High Ranks,in the Army while they are not educated. Generals have to be sacks and fine another Jobs, but Nuer Generals are not there. They should blamed Riek Machar and John Garang.

He should pack his luggage and leave South Sudan immediately. His presence in Juba is futile and he has to give back that responsibility to AU and UNO which entrusted it to him.

He contributed to the abrogation of ARCISS in July 2016.
Enough is enough. He has eaten money for poor South Sudanese while doing nothing. That the peace agreement is moving on well.very ironical indeed when the ARCISS died on 8th, July 2016 at J 1 killed by Kiir and Mohammed Taban Deng Gail Al Mahdi
