Jan, 22/2015[Nyamilepedia] — A fierce Battle was fought yesterday in Nar and Tom south, Parieng County, Unity State.

According to independent media outlets, the fighting erupted in the morning and went on until late afternoon.

According to our correspondents on the ground, who contacted Joshua Majak, a NGO Staff working in UNIMISS in Bentiu town, the government led faction of SPLA was on offensive.

“I personally saw many military land cruisers and Trucks full of soldiers enchanting and singing songs while the rest of soldiers were blowing on whistles and cows horns too, they were going toward the direction of Parieng county before the day of the attack”. Said Majak

Majak believes that the SPLA-Juba is having a hand in the attack on oil suburb area of Unity State.

On the other hand, the SPLA-IO’s spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Lul Ruach Koang, confirmed the incident saying:

“today our Position was attack by Kiir’s tribal army forces, But SPLA-IO, AKA freedom fighters, under direct command of Operations commander Brig. Gen. Michael Makal Kuol and 4th Division commander Brig. Gen. Simon Maguek Gai repulsed the enemy to the direction of Bentiu and Panakuach town respectively, Our personals on the ground says the enemies suffers many causalities.” Brig. Gen. Lul said.

“Our Fighters manage to destroyed two battle tanks and one Toyota mounted with unique machines guns also two tanks (Walits) and Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) captured in good conditions after failed attempts to recapture oil fields and facilities that had been under our able command for the last 13 months” Brig. Gen. Lul Ruai continues.

Lul narrated that the SPLA-Juba forces in its futile efforts used all lethal artillery and mortars fires in order to dislodge the SPLA-IO forces which in the process resulted in the destruction and setting ablaze of the precious oil facilities and lucrative oil wells.

“It’s unfortunate that the government is making a bad economic situation worse by destroying oil facilities that would be used to revitalize the crumbling economy once a final peace agreement is signed” He continued.

While Col. Philip Aguer down played commenting, he claims he has no valid details from the ground.

Earlier on the regime’s Minister for Information, Michael Makuei Lueth, blames the rebels for setting the oil fields on fire.

“This area is an area where the production of some many oil wells are pooled and directed to the processing centre in Helgili. They (rebels) set this place on fire. It was not operational of course since that is under the rebels [control],” he told reporters at the information ministry headquarters.

“The fire was burning up to yesterday (Tuesday), but we don’t how far have it [has] gone now. Of course, if oil starts to burn, the fire follows the oil wherever it is up to the wells,” he added.

The details of casualties and who controls the area are yet to be verified.

Salva Kiir’s government pledges to hold generals elections to renew the legitimacy of his government, whose term expires in July, however, the government controls only a few areas of Greater Upper Nile without full control of the other two regions.

Within the last three weeks of January, 2015, wars have ranged in parts of Lakes, Unity and Upper Nile states.

Good job our great fighters, this corruptist regime needs more action from all southerners tribes, especially young Nuer men who lost their relatives in Juba, we don’t want to be under that animal again like what happened in 2002. Go a head with that action and we will join you soon to kick that animal out of power. That agreement is not going to work if Salva Kirr still in power.

Mr. Gatluak Nyuot and Siri Gabriel Yiei.
I got to tell you my friends, this is the last chance for you or Riek Machar Teny. Those rebels who post any picture that was for long time ago are against the peace deal which was ink in Tanzania this week. The government of South Sudan is getting strong ever before and they just accepted peace agreement because African leaders want war to be end now.

If you think your rebels will win the war then, why not coming to South Sudan and try it to see how the guns smell in front-line. Warning on those against peace agreement, failure to comply with what the Eastern African have been witness in there then, the rebels will faces a lot of difficulties including isolation and denying base in Ethiopia country. I belief the Tanzania ink is the only key element to make reunification and reconciliation because all these three SPLMS were one Party members and there are many others political Parties in South Sudan nation. I think there will be no joke this time put in minds that, the Juba conflict was only one Month Old and 10,000 people have lost their lives imagine if that conflict continues how lives will be lost? The peace mean no fighting, no killing if you guys mess up again then, the world are going to turned against rebels belief or not.

Dear Freedom Fighters one thing we should have to know well is that we are not going to sign peace deal with tribal government of Salva Kiir in juba. The solution is here on the ground forces it be solves by militray mean, and we get strong even like before,

>>> no peace should make while salva kiir still as president,

<<< Salva Kiir Must Go,

sure Mr.Kim, we will never give up liberating ourselves from this so-called Salva Kiir. we must always be stronger enough to put to an end this kind of conflict through any mean, whether militarily or peacefully but it is obvious that thy don’t want peace as they still insist in violating CoH signed earlier in Jan 2014

To my uncle Simon Maguek Gai, please be strong enough to sustained trustworthy defend to our and flush out these fucken dinka in our homeland Unity state

Oh dear brother Nhial, There are two things I want to say to you. 1.Can you go yourself and fight there instead you encourage other nuers to die and hide somewhere?
2. Dinkas have not accepted this war as war between them and Nuers. 10,000 you claimed killed in Juba, how many dinkas killed in Juba, Bor, Malakal, Bentiu in 2013 and 2014? How many Dinkas nuers killed in1991? How many Dinkas Nuers killed between 1983 and 1987? You have already killed millions of Dinkas. Time Dinkas got out of patient, forget about Rwanda. You better preach peace!

Dear Mr.Peter Gatdet,
in the 1st place i would like to tell you that you have understood nothing in my message as per your comment, coz you never ask me in the first place whether am hiding somewhere or tirelessly participated in the movement. determine your position before telling me such stories.
I know all those before you know everything.
Anyway, you are right coz some Nuers were bribed and are fighting their fellow Nuers in defense of the fucking Kiir and i guess you are one of them,

Mr. Kiir doesn’t know what he is doing. He just like to make election inorder to run for presidency again without the involvement of SPLA- IO where he consume the money free. But his time is too near to left for hell.

Augustine Beny Kang,

You must be one of Nuer sell out who believes in bribery. I am sure you are one of those Nuer who are being used by Kiir to fight Nuer who ran away for their own safety from Kiir genocidal regime. Remember that Nuer are fighting in self-defense not to install Riek to presidency unlike you Nuer sell out of Nguen Monytuiel, Kun Poch, and John Kong who are fighting against fellow Nuer because you are being bribed by Kiir regime to kill your fellow Nuer in defense of Kiir who massacred your children, women, elderly, blind, and men simply because they were Nuer.

We need to hold our national pride high than bragging of particular tribe. we are proving to rest of the world that,we are not capable to lead ourselves like the North Sudan people use to said that South Sudaneses are not going to govern themselves very well. it is clearly demonstrated on our unreasonable writting on all media out let. The president Kiir is human being who is apron to committed few of his administrative mistakes; and the other hand, the rebel leader Dr. Riek is not errors free person either. Whatever, had happened in Juba last years nobody known what went wrong.Whether it was a coup or not. it is only few who had disagreement on the leadership of the party known it well.
