By South Sudan International Advocacy for Human Rights

Dear Fellow Citizens and Friends,

South Sudan flag flying in New York…

Oct 11, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– This letter serves as an honest request for your time and commitment to join hundreds of South Sudanese Americans and Friends who will be demonstrating in the city of Des Moines Iowa on October, 17 2016 to internationally highlight the horrific human suffering in a war-torn South Sudan where killing of innocent civilians and raping of women is perceived not as a crime but a sign of power by the dictatorial regime of President Salva Kiir Mayar.

South Sudan International Advocacy for Human Rights, Faith-Based organizations, and South Sudanese Civil Society organizations in the Continental US and Canada have organized this Life Saving Rally in Iowa and honestly invite all people of Good Will to participate.

We will inform the world that a Genocide of a larger scale was committed by Salva Kiir’s regime in Juba on December 15, 2013 against ethnic Nuer, in Malakal against ethnic Shilluk in Western Equatoria, in Wau-Western Bahr el Ghazal, and it is now happening in Greater Equatoria.

We will be calling on International Community and the Obama’s administration to pressure the regime to stop killing and raping and for dictator Kiir to step down from power so that peace can be realized in South Sudan.

We are also calling for tough and meaningful sanctions that includes freezing of stolen assets, an arms embargo as well as legal accountability for those who committed hideous war crimes and crimes against humanity in South Sudan.

 Sincerely,
