July 1, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– In less than three years the GRSS – Transitional Government of National Unity (TGONU) once again turned its guns on innocent civilians (children, women & elderly people) from Fertit tribes of western Bahar Alghazal in Republic of South Sudan. This is a repeat of Juba massacre, December 2013. The Leadership of FDP/SSAF strongly condemns this barbaric act and calls on the GRSS-TGONU to refrain from killing civilians under the pretext of self-defence from the armed groups that are fighting it for genuine political grievances.
The GRSS-TGONU should understand that the political will of the people and their determination to fight for their rights cannot be swept under the carpet by barrel of the guns, but only the voice of reason, wisdom, justice and equality can silent the guns and resolve such genuine grievances in our country. Our independence is a living example.

Liberation movements in South Sudan did not defeat the regime in Khartoum, but the regime opted for a political settlement through referendum. The TGONU in Juba should read history of suppression and the demise of the oppressors. Adolf Hitler and his Nazi forces were defeated by Russian severe and merciless winter in the Second World War before aiming at crushing the Russian forces.
To the people of Western Bhar Alghazal and South Sudanese at large, we say to you all that you have a very strong and committed partner to your struggle for Justice, Equality, Respect for human rights and rule of law and fundamental freedoms in the Republic of South Sudan. That partner is called “Imminent Economic Collapse” of the RSS. We South Sudanese should back up this partner by exerting more pressure on the regime in our small ways of struggle for our rights.
Fellow citizens of the Republic of South Sudan, the Leadership of FDP/SSAF hopes that there is no Juba massacre number 2 in 2016 in the making by the regime in Juba. Our prayers and sympathies go to innocent IDPs in the UN camps and other South Sudanese civilians at large should the power struggle between the SPLM factions in the TGONU lead the country to another power struggle that may result into second Juba massacres similar to the December 2013 – May God forbid!!
