Nov 29, 2016(Nyamilepedia) ——- Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, receives South Sudan’s ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Paul Malong Akaro, with a lot of disappointments over the seek and hide the politicians are playing at the expense of their own people.

President Buhari warns Kiir’s ambassador that unless the Agreement of Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan(ARCISS), signed more than a year ago, is implemented South Sudan has no future.

Ambassador Malong was sent by Salva Kiir government and arrived on November 28th in a rushed response to rumours that the former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, was considering to visit Nigeria from South Africa.

Malong, who met President Buhari at the state house in Abuja, carried a letter of credence from Salva Kiir but the Nigerian President, who is known for speaking out, said his disappointment over non-implementation of the peace agreement as war continues in many parts of the country.

“I was a little disappointed with the subsequent developments in your country. I was hoping that we can move forward and develop the great potentials of your country after the peace accord.” President Buhari said.

According to Femi Adesina, the special adviser to president Buhari on media and publicity, the Nigerian President promised that African union will work on how South Sudan and the region can achieve peace.

Buhari sees a lot of potentials in South Sudan, however, he is also aware that the government is not serious in implementing the peace accord.

According to reports from the UN News centre in New York, Salva Kiir government is currently transporting tens of thousands of Dinka militia to Equatoria in attempt to quilt rebellion in that region.

The president warned in the past two months that unless the disgruntled Equatorian youth lay down their weapons, Mr. Kiir could move his army headquarters to volatile Yei town to defeat rebellion himself.

In other reports, more civilians were killed and others displaced in Mudri East over the weekend as government helicopters bombard areas held by the strongly rooted Opposition forces in the area. Similar fighting and displacements continues in Unity and Upper Nile States.

The government is seen to be more interested in military solutions and isolation of Dr. Riek Machar, the former Vice President; however, more uprising and defections overshadow government’s strength.

Three years into fighting but the government continue to lose more territories in the two regions of Equatoria and Bhar el Ghazal which were relatively calm during the first one year of fighting. It is yet to be seen if there is a military solution to the conflict but the leaders are determined to fight on!
