Dec 16, 2015 (Nyamilepedia) — On Monday morning for the first time in 2 years, disgruntled Murle youth under unknown command attacked the village of Bukteng south-west of Nasir killing dozen numbers of people, and runs away with countless heads of cattle.

According to local residence in Mandeng town near Bukteng, the attacks came surprisingly at 4:00 am on Monday morning. Speaking to Nyaw Gatkuoth Nyaw in Mandeng, Nyaw confirmed to Nyamilepedia correspondent the attack but could not verify the number of people who died during the attack.

“Yes, the attack took place on Monday morning but we are not yet sure how many people died during the attack” Nyaw Confirmed in a voice fill with sympathy.

This is not the first time the Murle cattle raiders attack villages, killed people, took cattle and runs away with children. Last month there were several attacks carried out in Jonglie, in particular, the village in the border between Murle and Twic; the attacks repeatedly happens until the youth decided to take the matter into their own hands. Last month, the same raiders attacked Matar, border between south Sudan and Ethiopia killing people and run away with children but failed to take cows.

The latest reports emerged on Tuesday morning seems to identified more than 25 people killed, 9 women and 20 men, 40 heads of cows stolen and youth were on pursuit after the attackers. The state Information Minister Hon. Kech Nguoth Tiem couldn’t be reach for a comment.

We have to think about Consumers. I like that picture,we are South Sudanese and we should live in peace instead of Cattle-raiders. We can buy from those who got cows and we can sell meats in butchers to those who like meats.

I think nuer youth need to take this matter very serious because it happened so many time and will happen again. They need to reciprocate against murle because if they will not do so murle will continue doing atrocities act. Murle do not listen unless you kill them in great number. We are fail state which there will be no government to condemn any killing there nuer youth need in their hand to protect their cattle and children .

It is very surprise for the Murle youths to attack Bukteng and start killing people like that while NUER warriors are busy in dictatorial regime fighting. Anyway, my dears take it easy knowing that there is a time for anything. A time to be born and a time to die…. I suggest that you cannot revenge the attack because a big battle will happen one day. R.I.P and condolence to victims.

We as Nuer particularly ( Jikany Nuer ) need to do something to rescue the life of other people in our areas otherwise, we will not fight our enemy. State Government should protect the life of the people by deploying a dozens force far in the any border near Sobat state.
