Bentiu Liech Community Associations Prepares For Election in Omaha, Nebraska

October 3, 2019(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan’s Bentiu Liech Community Association Inc in the United States of America calls on her members to prepare for the upcoming General Elections.

While apologizing to members of his community for having delayed the election, the Chairperson of the Electoral Committee, Mr. Stephen Lam, announced that the election will be held in two weeks in Omaha, Nebraska.

“Dear valued members, Thank you for your patience while we were working on the details of our 2019 General Election.”

“Our General Election will be conducted on Saturday October 12, 2019 in Omaha Nebraska. Voting will start at 12:00pm and will end at 5:00pm.

“The location address is Wildwood Christian Church, 1255 Royal Dr #2081, Papillion, NE 68046.”

According to the electoral committee, two candidates, Mr. Joseph Gatyoung Khan Galuak and William Pey Touy, have expressed their interest and therefore they will compete for the position of Chairperson.

“Our candidates for the chair are Joseph Gatyoung Khan Galuak and William Pey Touy.” Read part of the statement.

Alongside, the Bentiu Liech Nuer community will also make crucial decisions with regards to how best the association should manage their finances.

“In addition to electing our future leaders, we will make important decisions about financial future Of the association and we encourage all Liech community members to participate. Sincerely” Lam said.
