July 24, 2016 (Nyamilepedia) — In the strongest term possible, Bentiu Community Association in Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemns the recent violence which targeted civilian base on their ethnicity in South Sudan. We condemn the intended attack against UN protection sites in Juba. We blame The United Nation, African Union, IGAD, JMEC and Troika who witnessed the August peace agreement between the two warring parties in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

We blame these groups for their failure to put enough pressure on those who are delaying the implementation of the compromise peace agreement. The community in Egypt realize that there is lack of seriousness and will to monitor the peace implementation process in the world’s younger nation. The community in Egypt concluded that slow implementation of the CPA-2 caused the recent violence that took so many innocent lives. Therefore, Bentiu Community in Egypt calls upon human rights groups to work very closely together with the two warring party, in order to bring those who are responsible for atrocities that have been committed against innocent civilian into book of justice for the law to take it cause.

In other hand, the leadership of Bentiu Community in Egypt would like to welcome the prompt and determined response from Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) following the IGAD-plus summit which was held in Kigali on 16th of July 2016 together with all the African countries for their constructive and positive engagement that put the current crisis in South Sudan into an end, by sending a third regional forces to intervene. As a part of the helpful measures.

In conclusion, Bentiu Community Association in Arab Republic of Egypt is here by extending their heartfelt condolences to all the families who lost their love ones in the previous violence that took place in the country. May their Souls Rest in Eternal Peace!
