July 12th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – From the humble beginning of amalgamation and heart-to-heart talks between Dr Riek Machar Teny the Chairman and Commander-In-Chief of the SPLM/A In Opposition and President Salva Kiir Mayardiit the leader of the SPLM/A In Government which was designed by Dr Abiy Ahmed the Ethiopian Prime Minister and Omer Al Bashir the Sudanese President then Echoed by Yower Museveni of Uganda.
South Sudanese were poured with delightful hope and aspirations while believing that their affliction should come to pause through recent past attempt by the mentioned leaders, unfortunately the mediators instead of them to hinged and sticks to their vow to negotiate the peace process in a peaceful approach and fidelity manner. Therefore their bindings Process of two leaders have end up with hidden agenda from both Museveni and Omer Bashir of Sudan which have now created another squalid ground for the next round of the attempt whether by the individual, IGAD and tripartite.
Per my political insight and sedition I have seen powerful interest vested in Khartoum-Kampala face to face talks. In which President Museveni wanted to keep his brother Salva Kiir in good aspect of the government position through the bloody and conspire proposal ( Entebee proposal) that aimed at accommodation of the political figures while leaving behind the very citizens who own the country and its resources..
Whereas President Al Bashir in the other hand wanted to see South Sudan’s Oil-flowing once again via his Country as Sudan has been plunging into economic dilapidation which leads to the soaring and fluctuations of the commodities, therefore, for Sudan’s economic to get into its previous Standard it need South Sudan to operate the oil. That’s the reason as why we’re seeing Sudanese president showing more aim on South Sudan Peace deal despite it’s fake entente as so long he will achieve his policy on oil sector.
It is tremendously ridiculous and absurd to negotiate the peace deals with hidden agenda that seem to be the vigorous impediments as well as standoffs to the lasting solutions to South Sudanese’ perennial crisis. Also the body language between Salva Kiir and Riek Machar have astonishingly indicated an intense political entanglement and hatred which also contribute to abrogation of the latest deal also to the 2015 Agreement to resolution of the conflict in South Sudan(ARCISS).
Prof. Peter Adwok Nyaba once said “2015 ARCISS got wounded in J1 dogfight and it need surgical intervention through HLRF.” Hence, the same same High Level Revitalization Forum have made no breakthrough in spite of all its effort and pressures imposed on the Opposition and government. On that exasperates matter South Sudanese ought to thinks big as the leaders failed to come into understanding. Or else we will have long river to cross. Too many peace-talks end up in a disgrace. For instance, ARCISS, HLRF and Face-to-Face-meeting all this attempt have no presentable meant rather than causing procrastination and distraction to what can mitigate our problems.
South Sudanese have been bearing the brunt of unpleasant negotiation from the onset of the 2015 August fragile agreement since the leaders lack national egos and political will to cease their differences to lay the foundation of reconciliation, pluralism and coexistence. Women are being Sexually harassed and child soldiers is in everywhere. UN reported that more than 200 women are abused by the government forces while the Government is not taking measures concern to protect its impoverish population despite the recent CoH agreement signed by warring parties to the conflict in South Sudan.
Inasmuch, South Sudan has indeed tarnished its image in the face of the Continent Africa and the rest of the world “South Sudan is the worse place to live” said one of the UN expert. This year 2018 when the world’s corruption index got released South Sudan rank 179 out of 180 followed by Somalia. In which our country will have no stability and calmness at all.
In my view, the leadership of the SPLM-A In Opposition and the other political parties need to form a unify forces who can fight the rogue and tyrannical regime of “Born-to-rule ideology” through popular uprising because the so called “There is no harm in trial Peace
process” won’t help South Sudanese to attain what they need. Hence, it’s too irritating to negotiate the peace that can only accommodate politicians and their sycophants. Secondly any Peace deals that involved President Museveni will not works even though there will be
international intimidation on him still nothing will get hold. Museveni has been the closes alliance and trysted friend to President Salva Kiir for a decade now. As a result, their friendship won’t allowed Museveni to act in the favor of peace in South Sudan rather
than proceeding with their despicable plans against South Sudanese.
