July 3rd 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – In the story, a father has two sons, a younger and an older. The younger son asked the father for his inheritance, and the father granted his request. However, the younger son ( i .e, wasteful and extravagant ) squandered his fortune and has eventually became a destitute.
And was forced to returned home empty-handed and intended to beg his father to accept him back as a servant. To the son’s surprised, he was not scorned by his father but was welcomed back with celebration and fanfare.
In reference and pertaining with the Biblical-scenario. Our country has been undergoing a political/military predicament and nemesis for virtually six years now while there’s no proper measures taken to calm or subside the situation. Despite all the fragile effort and push-for-peace-initiative made by Inter-governmental authority for development (IGAD) and the Troika countries.
Therefore, it is with no surprise and brain-shaking to see Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir mediating and modeling in South Sudan solution after intense confrontation between his country and South Sudan with Salva Kiir its leader from 2005 hitherto present day.
South Sudan glided into civil war and deranged violent in 2013-December which led to mascaras that cost hundreds of thousands lives of one ethnic group (Nuer). A good number have end up in neighboring countries as a refugees. While in all this years no any
sign of breakthrough from the Igad countries and tripartite countries as well.
The dormant organization called IGAD has by all meant failed to conquered its task in term of assuaging our perennial and nonstop crisis that befalls us for good years. The Igad also went ahead in blocking individual whom his quest to put an end the impoverishment humiliating the innocent population.
The Khartoum heart-to-heart talks between Salva Kiir the leader of the SPLM/SPLA In government and Dr Riek Machar Teny the Chairman and Commander-In-Chief of the SPLM/SPLA In Opposition has truly indicates that the prodigal son (South Sudan ) returned to his father to seek for the solution and cajoling.
As a result, President Omer Albashir his quest and whim to mitigate the long-term feud is high and the goodness of its all is that he is doing it out selfish interest. Since he deem himself as a man who gave South Sudanese their right to live as sovereign nation with its leaders. In other hand President Bashir has grave probability to bring an end the problem that perplexed the IGAD to handle it.
In spite of the grudge between the government of Sudan and the government of South Sudan since the country got split and detached from old Sudan hence the two countries engaged in accusations. Still President Omer deem South Sudan as his second home albeit of the allegations from Salva Kiir that he is supporting Dr Riek Machar in supplying ammunition to fight his government.
Hence, Bashir his intervention and modeling to end aggressive crisis is quite decisive and impressive to the starved population of South Sudan. I individual welcome his move to help IGAD through the latest initiative he has come up with to bring his brothers together.
