Response to Mabior: 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝗸 can never apologize to those who massacred our people!

Aug 07, 2021 — 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 could be a set back for us later but it’s vital we now know him. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝗸 can never apologize to any fools who massacred our people, imagine this boy!

My people, study the people you live with and interact with because they exist in spectrums that are consistent with either pretending, faking or being raw and real, and the closer you examine, a lot about them, you will know.

Not only for if you can lean on them or accept them or their ideas in your life but more importantly, you must understand these people in order to know where we can stand out from them or up with them!

Dr. Riek Machar like to disappoint the loyal Nuer men with new faces, especially when it comes to a time of rewarding experience or loyalty and that would later embarrass him and I do go through this hell too. I believe it is something to do with being kind or being fare at a point but we have to be careful of who we help, build or lean on, or who we trust with our information.

We must be selective of the friends we choose to keep. Friends can turn enemies even when you have shared vision and dreams.

Mabior’s father did turn our own men against us, our very own great heroes fought themselves and he made sure they carried out the Gajaak Nuer Massacres, which later led to the revenge on Dinka Bor in 1991. Also, in Bor’s POC a genocide was carried out thee in 2014 by the Dinka Bor and not many people are talking about it. It is not because we are not aware of any  Nuer deaths in the hands of these Bor Dinka people’s activities but simply because when we tend to forgive, we do forgive wholeheartedly as Nei ti Naath.

More importantly this 1991 scenario is a major problem within the state of Jonglei that they kept singing about it and if this divisive dialogue does not stop sooner than later, in the right time and directions, I will have a word of courage with the Lou-Nuer as a Nuer man. It’s in my interest to see every Nei Tin Naath’s neighbors living in peace and harmony with us for our people to see a society that’s healthier in the Naath  and more progressive in our country. Our well-being will be more effective in reducing the problems we already have!.

𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗿, we welcomed you with opened arms and hearts regardless of your father’s mistakes but why is that allowed? Because he is a young man whom we believe can lead in a different way, different from that of his father. Very early in the time of 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗸, a lot of young people kept reminding me of him being a traitor or a pretender but 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝗸 couldn’t seem to detect his curl behavior but more people kept reminding me about it and I choose to ignore it. 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 and because “𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗟𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗙𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗗𝗔𝗡” ~𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗿…. The recent statement from him shows that he’s interested in causing more chaos between the NUER, as well encouraging another g𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 or pushing for a fresh civil war in the country and that’s not acceptable.

Perhaps, someone just have to remind him to remember the person that was sweet to him, when he needed someone to love him and care for his future. Not long ago 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝗸 proven his trust in him, not just once but twice and never did he leave his name out in his entriew. Back  in 2016 and also in 2018, he appointed Mabior as a 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 and a 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, respectively. Until today his position is still unoccupied.

I guessed what he needs to know is that things are changing, these old men won’t be here in the next 15 years. Leave alone that, talk of 7 years from today but it’s true 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗿 is ungrateful and unhappy as of now and I wouldn’t take it personally because my purpose in life has nothing to do with his opinion. His personal destruction on himself are solely his, he can cause himself more harm and that’s his business; however, time is coming when it wouldn’t be about the name your father had that favours you among others but what you can actually do, for talking is one thing but action is another thing, and if you can improve the lives of your own people, can’t they elect or vote for you?
