President Trump is God’s corrective rod for the world but Moses’ rod for South Sudan!

“I know my child. I know. I want the first ever female president for America too but Americans need my corrective rod first!”

Donald John Trump, US President elect…..

Nov 11, 2016(Nyamilepedia) ——- The assuring voice had acknowledged when I verbalized what millions of people were feeling in America and around the world after a decisive win by Donald John Trump sent shock waves around the globe. It had been a Presidential Campaign like no other and gazillions of people had rooted for Hillary Rodham Clinton to make history again as Barack Obama did in 2008. Nonetheless, the first ever American female president was not elected on November 8, 2016 but upright democracy had prevailed in an unprecedented way. Americans had exercised their full democratic and legal rights and spoken loud and clear.

“Donald Trump wins, America elects an unthinkable president” a caption read, the day after Trump’s extraordinary win (http://www.nyamile.com/2016/11/09/donald-trump-wins-america-elects-an-unthinkable-president/). Flawless democracy is what distinguishes the world’s civilized nations from the barbaric ones and America couldn’t have been a truer model when the outgoing President Barack Obama led by example in expeditiously meeting with President Elect Donald John Trump to pass the baton as George Walker Bush the 43rd President of the United States of America did in 2008. President Bush had made sure there was a very smooth and successful transition and so will President Obama. A new world order had commenced and it was time to rally behind the 45th President of the United States of America as Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton inculcated in their difficult but super patriotic concession speeches. Unadulterated constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power so the duo congratulating Donald John Trump on winning the elections was expected, along with Obama’s invitation of Trump to the White House as he asserted that “

America is bigger than us”. We as the human race need to continue playing our individual and collective roles in making this world a better place for all under the US administration of Donald John Trump as well.

Although a peaceful transfer of power had begun in the United States of America, the champion of democracy globally, so had exercises of First Amendment Rights protected by the country’s incorruptible Constitution. Anti-Trump demonstrations sprung up all over the country as White Americans, African Americans, Latino Americans, American Muslims, Women and a myriad of other American groups protested the election of Donald John Trump who had now toned down the controversial statements he made with respect to the foregoing segments of society and others during his Presidential Campaign. They were some of what got the Reality Television Star elected to the highest office in the United States of America because they mimicked the Dysfunctional Reality TV Shows that keep Americans and the rest of the world glued to their Televisions day in and day out. The Canada immigration website is reported to have crashed as displeased Americans swarmed the site to find information about fleeing their country and a Trump administration by crossing the border into Canada.

“Some Anti-Trump demonstrations have now been upgraded to riots.” “Anxiety levels are very high.” “People were seen crying.” “Other candidates would have been disqualified for the things Trump said.” “There are deep scars.” “Those were strong statements.” “People are feeling a combination of fear and excitement.” “They want to be scared.” “It is the adrenalin rush.” “Trump’s win and its aftermath are showing a very ugly side of America.” “There is optimism if he does some right things.” “People want to be surprised.” “Americans believe in fairy tales, the unexpected.” “Trump has opened up the Pandora’s Box.” Those are some of the statements made in the aftermath of Trump’s overwhelming win.

“Donald Trump is not a normal candidate” a panelist offered during one of several televised discussions examining Trump’s epic win.

“People respect the office but they will continue to fight this man” another opined in reference to the Constitutional rights bequeathed to all Americans to question anyone – even a President. Some people even dared to suggest that President Donald John Trump could be impeached for violating the United States constitution by being a bigot but that is for Americans to decide as the world now rallies behind the brand new President of the United States of America.

“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.”

The words of Revelation 3:19 reverberated as I reviewed Bible verses respecting discipline by God and flashed a knowing smile because wayward Christians like me experience God’s corrective rod on a regular basis but always emerge irreproachably instructed, completely reformed and wiser because of the correction which is what America needs. Consequently, I was fully aware as all mature Christians are of what was happening to America and by extension the rest of the world – God using Donald Trump as a corrective rod.

“When some of us kept hinting on Twitter that Donald Trump might be a rod raised by God to humble liberal America and the increasingly pagan Western Europe, we seemed like crazy people. I kept saying on the 93.3 KFM “Hot Seat” Friday evening talk show week in, week out, that the rise of Trump reminded me of the rise of Adolf Hitler — an uncanny, a strange, an inexplicable invisible hand seemingly propelling him from victory to victory, in spite of his blunder after blunder” words attributed to Timothy Kalyegira, a well-known Ugandan Journalist who was accused of defaming Yoweri Museveni, the president of Uganda and dragged to court over the alleged character assassination read. Kalyegira gained some of his notoriety defending Idi Amin Dada, a former President of Uganda and challenging maligners to present irrefutable evidence or shut up (www.idiamindada.com).

“Trump, I realised, was too unusual, too weird a candidate to not be the creation of an Invisible hand. A divine hand must be using Trump as a tool to humble arrogant liberal America. And so here we are. The biggest political shock the world has seen in over eighty years is upon us. Even the pro-Clinton U.S. media is almost in a resigned tone starting to speak in terms of “President-elect Trump”. Kalyegira was referring to the time during the nail biting tallying of election results when television presenters appeared resigned to the fact that Donald Trump was actually going to beat Hillary Rodham Clinton to win the highest office in America and become the most powerful person on earth.

“The erratic, charismatic property developer who has always believed he was born to win has won the biggest deal ever. Remarkable day, November 8, 2016. So what are all the opinion pollsters, all the Oxford- and Harvard-educated experts, the liberals, the western media (oh the western media), what are they going to say now?” Kalyegira is reported to have concluded following highly charged insinuations that God was watching sinful ways America forced on the rest of the world and Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump was a punishment from Him for that waywardness.

It looks like Donald Trump just pulled off a Brexit, I laughed out loud as we came to the full realization that he had won the US Presidential Elections by a landslide. His win was as unexpected as the results of the United Kingdom referendum to leave the European Union, also known as the Brexit referendum. The plebiscite took place on June 23, 2016 in the United Kingdom (UK) and Gibraltar and the people brandished their democratic power and voted contrary to what was expected. The result was an overall vote to leave the European Union and the national turnout for the vote is said to have been the highest ever for a UK-wide referendum. The voting crowd was also said to have been the highest for any national vote since the 1992 General Election. Brexit bore incredible resemblance to the Tuesday, November 8, 2016 US elections and an internationally supervised referendum held to resolve whether South Sudan should opt to become an independent state or remain part of Sudan after two wars that cost millions of lives. To recapitulate, the South Sudan Independence Referendum occurred from January 9, 2011 to January 15, 2011 and the majority wish for South Sudan to attain independence from the rest of the Sudan prevailed.

Consequently, South Sudan was declared an independent and sovereign state on July 9, 2011. The people of the new country had exceedingly high hopes for peace and a democracy comparable to the one that ushered in Donald John Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America. However, two years after Independence, a reprehensible genocide occurred in the new country beginning on December 15, 2013. The ethnic cleansing was sponsored and instigated by a section of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLM/SPLA) the government of the day. Instead of calling the genocide what it was, unequivocally admonishing the mass murderers and shunning them diplomatically, the American administration of the time maintained deathly silence and continued doing business as usual with the genocidal government of South Sudan. The western mainstream media followed suit in the collective silence, leaving South Sudanese to be raped and murdered with impunity without their plight being accentuated which is why they are owed an explanation for the outlandish behaviour by America and the rest of the international community.

Following the genocide, the SPLM/SPLA reverted to civil war with two main factions taking up arms against each other namely the SPLM/SPLA in government and the SPLM/SPLA in opposition. A war raged on in South Sudan beginning on December 15, 2013 leading to more genocide, mass murder, the displacement of millions of innocent civilians, the most abhorrent forms of human rights violations including but not limited to the castration of male children, the gang rape of women, beheadings and other forms of reprehensible lawlessness!! After 21 months of bloodshed, a purported “agreement” that would fail a rigorous legal test in the United States of America and all indisputable democracies was forced on the combatants in August 2015. The people of South Sudan were not involved in the negotiation of this purported agreement in a substantial way in spite of the fact that they are the ones who have the legal authority to decide what should happen in the country the same way Americans voted for Donald John Trump and Britons voted in favour of Brexit in an overwhelming exercise of their unchallengeable legal rights. The unconventional and undemocratic “agreement” dubbed “THE AUGUST 2015 AGREEMENT ON THE RESOLUTION OF THE CONFLICT IN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN (ARCISS)” was purportedly guaranteed by the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the African Union (AU). However, the fore mentioned establishments along with the witnesses who were made up of the People’s Republic of China, the Kingdom of Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the United Nations, the European Union and the IGAD Partners Forum (IPF) knew or ought to have known that the so-called “agreement” was bogus.

With the election of Donald John Trump and an overwhelming Republican majority in the White House, South Sudanese can now breathe a sigh of relief and expect a reversal of America’s curious attitude towards the lawless government of South Sudan which was tantamount to shaking hands with the devil and sleeping with the enemy. Like Brexit and the United States elections that delivered unexpected results in an unprecedented way, the people of South Sudan must now be involved in deciding what happens in their country, having been the ones that were depended upon to determine the fate of South Sudan during the Referendum for Independence from mainland Sudan as required by law. In addition to being God’s corrective rod for the world beginning with the United States of America, President Trump will be Moses’ rod for South Sudan because he has seen and experienced first-hand what people power can accomplish.

A lot of individuals and groups are now standing by to end the bad governance, human rights violations, rampant institutionalized corruption, lawlessness, tribalism, nepotism, dictatorship, forceful land seizures, wanton killings of children, women, the elderly and unarmed civilians by the SPLA forces in South Sudan that continued unabated because the previous US administration and others looked the other way ((https://youtu.be/QSeezGBNi7o); (https://youtu.be/tYoIRwm8iX8)).

Using Donald Trump as Moses’ rod, they will lead God’s people into their own promised land, the aspiration for which began with a liberation struggle that was ignited on August 18, 1955, in Torit, Eastern Equatoria State led by members of the British-administered Sudan Defence Force Equatorial Corps. Some descendants of the Sudan Defence Force Equatorial Corps and others are now fully involved in wresting South Sudan from the SPLA forces and their so-called Liberation Movement which arrogated the liberation of South Sudan with deceit. Having wilfully exaggerated one of its contradictory messages respecting fighting a predominantly Arab and Muslim Northern Sudan to free Black African south Sudanese from forced Islamization, Americans especially Christians and African Americans rallied behind the SPLM/SPLA in full pursuit of an agenda that would turn out to be an unholy one.

Christians all over the world also rallied behind the SPLM/SPLA and inadvertently aided the organization’s fiendish agenda and fraudulence. Using the contradictory messages in all its external relations, the SPLM/SPLA was very successful in amassing powerful weapons they turned on the southerners they purported to be fighting to free from oppression by Northern Sudanese. In other words, helpless southern Sudanese women, children, elderly people and unarmed civilians were the first victims of the SPLM/SPLA and they continue to be. Operating under the radar, members of the SPLM/SPLA raped, murdered and looted at will.

They committed the most hateful forms of human rights violations in total contradiction of the core teachings of Christianity namely love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. In other words, members of the duplicitous organization duped America and Christians all over the world into believing that they were supporting fellow Christians in southern Sudan to win non-negotiable rights to worship the God of the Bible without the reproval of Sharia Law when nothing could be further from the truth. The falsity of the SPLM/SPLA would eventually manifest openly and set off the horrific catastrophe that must be stopped forthwith.

God has spoken loud and clear with respect to South Sudan, I thought to myself as I snapped out of my fascination with America electing the first ever female president. I had reasoned that a female President in the United States of America would put a stop to the outlandish silence America exhibited towards the horrendous sexual violence women endure on a daily basis in South Sudan. A female President would surely take action to curtail the lawlessness oozing everywhere in South Sudan and the horrendous human rights violations being meted on women, children, the elderly and unarmed civilians I had justified. However, upon reflection I became convinced that President Trump as God’s corrective rod for the world but Moses’ rod for South Sudan will be way more effective! He ran a campaign against the establishment and won hands down in spite of himself because of people power which can happen in South Sudan too.

Democratic Nationalism is on the rise globally and the people of South Sudan can become a part of this worldwide movement. They can overcome the genocidal and lawless oligopoly holding the country hostage by following the example of America and mobilizing the people to exert their power. The people can finally liberate themselves from the lawless cartel and cross to the Promised Land using Trump as Moses’ rod. They can reclaim the vision that was ignited with the mutiny popularly known as the Torit Mutiny on August 18, 1955 and rid themselves of the genocidal SPLM/SPLA ((Launching the people’s front to oppose the genocidal SPLM cum SPLA oligopoly in South Sudan!); (http://www.southsudannation.com/launching-the-peoples-front-to-oppose-the-genocidal-splm-cum-spla-oligopoly-in-south-sudan/ ))

In his victory speech, Trump vowed “great relationships” with “all” nations as he embarked on the most impactful job in the world, vowing that his campaign was never about one person and promising healing in a deeply divided America and the world by extension which can happen for South Sudan too! On the opposite side of the coin, despite a colossal loss and a missed historical presidency, it is heartening to know that Hillary Rodham Clinton broke so many barriers women face and made it easier for them to aspire to the highest office in the land which is undoubtedly around the corner.
