July 9, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – I am writing this poem on behave of all concern citizens who seem to be caring and the leaders who seem not to care about the suffering of thy fellow citizens and countrymen.

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

Do you know if someone is bleeding and no one seem to care that life would be lost?!

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

If I were a leader, I would be concern to cease the bleeding and suffering of innocent souls

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

Even though I am not in an elected position, as a concern citizen, I should be playing my part to make a difference

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I wonder why we went to the bushes to liberate ourselves from the North in the first place if the only aim was to fight over control of wealth and power

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I should be ashamed of myself sending my kids abroad and looting country resources to support my children and pretend to be working for the interest of the people of South Sudan living in deplorable conditions and chronic poverty

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

How proud would I be if my only pride is to kill, loot and rape my fellow human beings?

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

Sometimes, I do not understand why some people would love to be leaders when they had no clear vision to lead and see where they are heading the country to

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

It makes no difference whether you are young or old. Do you know action speak louder than words?

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I dedicated my life to making a difference and protect my fellow humans and countrymen

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

Don’t tell me you’re a leader if you could not tell me your vision and back it up with actions and clear strategies

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I challenge you all my leaders to undo what you did and lead us out of this mess with united hearts. No more pretending politicizing our suffering

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I sometimes forget, the day we got our independence, because it makes no sense when we are still suffering and no one seem to care

South Sudan is bleeding

And no one seems to care

I tell you enough is enough and we’re all concern to get out of this mess and held our leaders accountable

South Sudan is bleeding

And we are all concern

Happy Independence day to all South Sudanese in and out of the country!!!!!!!
