July 8th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA), an umbrella of nine South Sudanese armed and non-armed opposition groups, and the SPLM Former Political Detainees have rejected the Ugandan proposal presented yesterday that seek to establish a presidency that is made up of four vice-presidents, opposition official told the Nyamilepedia on Sunday from the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

On Saturday, in a meeting conducting at the Ugandan state house in Entebe, President Kiir and Opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon agreed to from a government with four vice-presidents as proposed by the Ugandan President and Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir.

According to a document seen by the Nyamilepedia, the transitional government would be let by the incumbent president, Salva Kiir Mayardiit. Machar would be appointed the Firs Vice President, Taban Deng, the incumbent first vice president who would be displaced by Machar to be appointed the second vice president, James Wani Igga, the incumbent second vice president to be appointed the third vice president and the fourth one to be nominated by the other remaining opposition groups and must be a woman.

Speaking to the Nyamilepedia from Khartoum today, Gatkuoth Mut Turoah, a member of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance representing the South Sudan United Movement under Gen. Peter Gatdet, said all the opposition groups including those represented by the opposition alliance have rejected the deal accept the SPLM-IO under the leadership of the country’s former First Vice-President Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

“No, we (South Sudan Opposition Alliance or SSOA) and other South Sudan political parties, including the Former Detainees have rejected the Entebbe proposal except the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM/A (IO),” the official said.

The plan to have Kir and present two Vice presidents in his camp and the first vice president and a woman vice president on the opposition side is a recipe for disaster in South Sudan. Kir will tell Taban to finish the task of killing Machar in order to get Machar job since they did not succeed in their first attempt.
Secondly, their will be no reforms and democracy in South Sudan after the transitional period. And Kit will rule for life.
Musseveni formula for power sharing is to keep Kir for life.
